It's not hard to see where this stunt went wrong: A group of guys in Canada somehow decided that attempting to jump a Jeep over a backyard swimming pool was a good idea. You can guess what happens next.

As you can see in the video, the ramp meant to launch the car over the pool wasn't built tall enough and instead of jumping over the pool, the Jeep dives directly into the water.

Somehow the pool stayed mostly intact even after the failed stunt. Eventually the guys had to use a saw to liberate the submerged vehicle.

It seems it was all for the video and notoriety. The ramp was half the height of the pool! They had to know it was a fail.

OMG! I hope the tea party hasn't infected Canada! That might qualify as some sort of invasion or even a war crime.

Instead of doing a stupid stunt, these people need to do something useful for the community.

Who knows, a lot of people think a pool is nice, but realize they are expensive to maintain.......... and get rid of them. Maybe he wasn't a moron, but figured since he was throwing it away anyway he may as well enjoy it. Maybe he was moving, or they didn't get the permit and had to remove it or get a fine for building violations...........who knows............ but just because they failed don't mean they didnt know it could of happened.

Side note, what happened to reporters having to report rather than just speculate and ask questions instead of doing their jobs and answering questions. We have dozens of clip shows........ do we really need this crap on our news stations?

I saw that on TV. Didn't look like the pool was demolished. Of course, it could have collapsed after I flipped channels. Either way, it was funny seeing the Jeep sitting in the middle of the pool.

Life can at times, prove, weirder than fiction...What were they (thinking)? By the way, we have a great in-ground pool, but if we decided to put one on an empty lot above ground, it would be great to learn the brand name of the one that withstood the impact of that vehicle and it's driver whose name is S_ _T for brains. Him we would ban from even approaching our property or auto's.
