Creations like the Aston Martin CC100 Speedster aren't meant to be static objects. Unfortunately, that's how we experience concepts like this luscious Aston Martin all too often. Fortunately, one YouTube user managed to hear the CC100 clear its throat at this weekend's Villa d'Este Concorso in Italy. The mammoth V12 under the concept's long hood sounds appropriately menacing, barking and popping in every shade of ferocious. As you may recollect, the 6.0-liter engine can propel the topless Speedster to 180 miles per hour after cracking off a four-second 0-60 mph dash. Sounds like a party to us.

You can watch the mayhem in the video below. Do yourself a favor: turn up the volume. If your neighbors complain, you can send them our way.

It claps a little applause for itself when you let off the gas. Bravo! Bravo!

Was there ever a better waste of fuel? I don't think so. The sound of fuel detonating in the manifold on over-run. Ahhh... so lovely.

I was there too. Yeah the lake is beautiful. It's a pity this thing didn't win in the concept category instead of that stupid Touring Disco Volante.

I agree. A car like this needs a proper manual gearbox. Not an automatic so Justine Bieber can terrorize her neighborhood!

Automatic with shift lights.. but then again those fancy Formula 1 cars must be automatics too.

They ARE automatic. And they're hybrid, and they have tiny spoilers that help unskilled drivers pass and win a trophy too, because this is the cupcake generation where everybody wins.

In other news... Aston Martin designs its take on the Batmobile from the 1960s, with that amazing Aston engine music.
