Those of you who were following along with the live Xbox One keynote this afternoon have likely already seen this video, but for the rest of the world, this is the first look at the all-new Forza Motorsport 5. Slated to be a launch title for the new Xbox gaming console, Forza 5 is tipped to offer racing like no other video game before it, with controls and graphical presentation on a new level.

The demo seen here shows that, to no one's surprise, the McLaren P1 will have a star turn in the next-generation game. The video shows both the P1 and its F1 forefather in a race through narrow city streets, with both cars rendered in eye-popping detail. Actual game play footage will ultimately have to win us over, but it's safe to say that all signs point to a killer racing sim. Check out the video for yourself below.

altough this looks promising it seems the whole internet is switching towards the PS4 atm. sad but microsoft seems to have gotten even more greedy and made some really bad decisions, like used games fee and always on (at least once a day) mandatory because games will use cloud data. two things they didn't even mention at the press conference! this is a sad day for forza fans.

What the PS4 faithful are forgetting is that Sony hasn't publicly announced their stance on used games yet. There's a rumor that the PS4 will use a similar if not identical model. Backing up the rumor is the suggestion that EA announcing that they are not making games for the Wii U was because Nintendo wouldn't follow the new used-games pricing model.

Sony has said publishers can block used games if they want, they'll provide the tools to do it, but the blocking wouldn't be required.

Geez if what you said about EA is really the case... I didn't think they could possibly be any worse but damn, that would do it. I think I'm just gonna stick with PC.

Like I said, it's only a rumor so don't put too much weight into it. I'm just tired of people developing massive bias due to a lack of information.

Long live the Wii U. The only console that has absolutely no used game protection.

I don't really understand why EA cares about old title recapitalization when they were essentially giving some old titles as free downloadables (C&C series comes to mind here). But EA's like the old GM of gaming, their decision-making process makes absolutely no sense.

you posted the exact same thing in the other thread on xbox one... ax to grind? this is actually a step forward for forza if it goes back towards a more traditional sim approach

i wasn't talking about forza at all. it's the system which comes with it which seems to be the problem, if microsoft really tries to do what they seem to...

Xbox will always dominate the market. They offer way more services and resources to its user. They are also more reliable when it comes to servers and online game play with better titles. In addition, no one buys used games that is into big titles. Most people pre-order and buy new. Haters going to hate and there will always be PS Fan Boys, same as there are Xbox Fan Boys that think one is better than the other. Personally I will buy which ever is better.

So what you're saying is, XBox will reign supreme because people are stupid? You're probably right. *hops back into his PC and flies away*

I don't see why people are complaining about used games. I never buy a game brand new. I wait a couple of months until it's knocked down 20 - 30 bucks.

Same here. I think i have only bought one game when it launched, which was GTAIV. Every other game I bought I got used or when it became a Platinum Classic.

Yea, i am glad they are going back to they're roots, after the mess that was horizon, but will it be enough? I say that because GT6 picked up the slack, and is shocking alot of PC sim gamers,GT6 has a new Physics engine that is up there with Rfactor,GTR2 and iracing. This is coming from people who have played the demo, I hope this pushes some even healthier competition, But it seems PD is not playing around anymore, and are showing they're true colors, The tire and suspension modeling is amazing.. Seems like all turn 10 care about now is visuals. eitherway i will buy both, just like i have forza 1-4,GT-5.

I thought Forza Horizon was a lot of fun and a good game, you just couldn't think of it as a Forza Motorsport game. Once you look at it as an open world racer with the same great physics engine, then it looks much better compared to its competition. GT6 has one huge disadvantage, it's going to be released on the PS3 rather than the PS4.

I agree though they could've made it a much longer game. All they had to do was let you compete year to year or something. I don't know. Doesn't seem like a lot of thought was put into re playability.

What slack? FH wasn't anything more than a spin off. Forza 5 will be picking up where Forza 4 left off, not FH.

I see that many people are still too retarded to understand the concept of a spin off.
