Russian dashcams have brought us footage of everything from giant meteors to phony car accidents.
While the bulk of the videos culled from the videos of the former Soviet state involves bizarre accidents, pedestrians faking injury and more, there are plenty more that capture tender acts of human kindness.

Check out this compilation of dashcam footage, showing people helping each other in snowstorms, helping the elderly cross the street and more.

It's a nice counter to the reason we see so much Russian dashcam footage in the first place – the country is inundated with insurance fraud, and drivers need the video evidence to prove their innocence.

Too bad that this video was not made here in the USA. People here could use a lesson in manners and common courtesy. Yes, I am one of those that will stop and let people go, and I either get beeped at or the fool behind me will try and go around me. I am in a car and it is probably warm and dry. It is not a bad thing to let someone walking in the rain or cold, to cross in front of me. Nor will it kill me to let someone in who can't get out of a busy street or driveway. Kudos to the people in this video and whom ever made it. Heart warming!

after 6 months of procrastination, yesterday I finally ordered a dash cam from Amazon. I am going to consider it a toy, something to fool around with. I hope to record the good, the bad and the ugliness of driving on the streets of Los Angeles. I may end up writing a novel...or at least a short story , about my experimentation.

Damn. Why can't the world just always be like this. Everywhere. All the time. It really isn't that hard to be helpful. To be kind. To care about another human being you don't know. Start small..end big.

That was such a good video. I got over 4 minutes in before I realized the sound was up to high. It literally made me cry like a baby. The saddest part is that evil has taken over this land, and this stuff is all rare to see anymore. Its so sad. But I will keep holding doors for people, and when I walk by a person I will hold my head up high and say hello. I will take constructive criticism, and not put others down. Evil will never win in this house......

I believe they help one another, because of LOVE of humanity, and in the USA... So many different nationalities fighting... too much hate in america.

No. We have these types as well. We may not focus as much on them but, they are all around us. Maybe, if more of us had the courage to put away our fears and doubts about ourselves....who knows ?

Just incredible to see that there are still some people in this world that are willing to go out of their way to actually help someone in their time of need! I haven't seen anything like this in...well....a very long time.
