Earlier this month, we reported on a video that was circulating the internet which showed a young boy driving a Ferrari F430 on a street in India while other children watched and two adults recorded the whole thing. And that was all that we knew at the time. Now, there is more information about the car, the kids and their parents thanks to an article in the Daily Mail. As it turns out, a wealthy businessman let his son drive the Ferrari as a present for his ninth birthday and recorded the whole thing while his six-year-old son was riding shotgun.

According to the report, the father, Muhammad Nizam, faces charges and possibly the seizure of the car for letting his son get behind the wheel. Oddly enough, the video is still up on YouTube, and we have it posted for you below.

So let me get this straight...the Indian police has time to charge a rich man with a Ferrari while the police does nothing to protect women and children who are getting raped.

If the rape was caught on tape and published on YouTube, I would have to assume they would do something.

No they would not, because this guy has money that is the only reason why the Police is charging him. Indian police will only help their citizens until you pay them a lot of Rupees.

But of course! Seize the car, 'auction' it off to the chief of police's son for 50 rupees.

This is vehicle discrimination, had those kids been driving a TATA, Suzuki, Toyota, Honda etc...this video would not have gone viral or picked up by sites like Autoblog and the father would not have gotten in trouble.

The Haterz sure can reach! The long arm of the socialist and communist. The opressor brigade. WTF is this world coming to when you can\\\'t teach your son or daughter how to drive in a private street. Whoever reported should be arrested for Hateroism (new word Hater+Terrorism)...Thats what they are...why don\\\'t they snitch on their own kids, i\\\'m sure they are somewhere getting high smoking weed and doing other illegal things.

You can teach them on a private street when they're on their learner's permit, or on a parking lot a year or two before, but if you want to let them drive at 9 years old, get a farm and a truck.

I would wager you could let them drive on a private street at any age. Just like laws relating to fishing in public lakes, rivers, etc. do not apply if you have a pond on your property, a private street does not fall under the law of 'public roadways'. You may face issue with the owner of the street, such as an HOA, but police would be powerless in the area of motor vehicle enforcement. It would have to be pursued as a child endangerment, etc. Perfect example: http://cjonline.com/stories/092008/loc_334492354.shtml There was an identical case in Iowa about 3 years ago but I cannot find the story.

Looks like the kids could stand to burn-off some calories by walking instead of driving.

When I turned 10, my dad let me do the same thing around the cul-de-sac with our 1979 Chevrolet Malibu station wagon. People are WAY too uptight about this.

Your dad handing you a BB gun vs an automatic AK-47 would also garner different responses.

What's the problem? I was behind the wheel of an Electra 225 with some of the sloppiest steering known to mankind when I was 10. The next year ...I went solo on a bulldozer.(Caterpillar of course) Sounds like some officials chewing on class warfare & washing it down with Haterade. That being said...I'm not likely to post a video of the event - if I have control of the circumstances.

Great camera work dad. You must really be proud of your two sons, especially the nine year old driving the Ferrari. Here\'s a suggestion for you dad. Instead of waiting for your son to lose his virginity the \"natural\" way, which would either be with his mother, or one of his nine sisters. Why don\'t you hire twelve prostitutes, and let the boy have a proper gang bang.
