Regardless of how unsure we are of the back story in this video, we don't doubt how cool it would be to get picked up from [insert place here] in a Lamborghini Aventador. In this case, the driver says he picks up his former neighbor's daughter from New York-area high school in an Aventador, and with most of us heading to the Big Apple tomorrow for the New York Auto Show, we're wondering if this guy might be available to shuttle us from the airport to the hotel. It never hurts to ask.

After picking her up, they then head for a quick tour of Times Square with a trio of GoPro cameras recording the whole thing... missing out on a great opportunity to catch about five minutes of Aventador exhaust note, the video, for some reason, pipes in some awful background music. What is entertaining are the reactions that people have to seeing the car – whether from kids or adults – as the car has a magnificently beautiful Azure Blue paint job.

Scroll down to watch the video, but beware, there is some foul language involved.

You know a lot of people wonder what's the point in owning a super car in cramped cities. It's true you never get to bring it past 60km at most but if you have the resources, and don't mind driving a huge car in a small city why not turn a few heads and brighten someone's day?

Getting compliments on your car never gets old.

GoPro camera's have internal mics which primarily capture muffled wind noise. Thats why all GoPro videos have music instead of the actual audio.

if the story is true then that was really cool of him to do this I am going to assume it is true because I find it hard to believe that if something fishy was going on with his former neighbor's high school age daughter, he is not going to videotape it and show up in a Lamborghini for all the world to see. Also, those kids at her school just make me sad. No class, no respect. This is what our society has become. Kind of surprised it drew so much attention in NYC, you would think cars like that are common there and people would be desensitized to them.

Best part was the college funds text at the end. Good for him.

This is great. I pulled into NYC in a rented lambo gallardo and the Ferrari f430. Nyers do stare at you. But NYC has the most horrible roads. I cracked a rocker panel on a F430 in a construction zone on the Grand Central parkway hitting those filed down lanes. But that was a cool video.

Lol sure did. But I paid it. They are always emailing me, asking when can I rent from them. I said, the hell with that. I'm going to purchase one. 2015-2016 I'll have my own exotic car. Lamborghins feel jerky and unbalanced. Ferrari feels/drives with more control. I'm eying the Berlinetta, New Bentley Continental GT Speed, Ferrari FF or 458 spider.

Although not nearly as cool as an Aventador I once got picked up from elementary school in streched Rolls-Royce Phantom V (my dad was a firefighter and we were very middle class so this was a BIG deal). Same friend of the family also picked me up in a Lamborghini Silhouette a couple months later. Too bad at 9 years old you really dont realize the magnitude of it all...

When I'm rich, I'm not gonna be one of those shmucks that sends my kids to private schools. I'll send them to a public school, so I can pick them up in my Aventador!

I think its pretty cool, and the girl seemed to have enjoyed herself. Anyway, for those who say "her problems are personal", he never showed her face or anything, so how did he expose her problems? He mentions them, but maintains her anonymity.

Not to the people who saw her in it and know who she is.

Exactly. Its not difficult, especially in this day and youtube age, to put two and two together. Her classmates saw her get in the car, then they saw this video, now they know more about her than she may have wanted to be known. I mean, he MAY have asked her permission to post that information with the video, but seeing this "look at my car" video, I kinda doubt it.
      Oops! Try again.

I'm amazed the three GoPros stayed put. I have one on my motorcycle helmet that already attracts way too much attention when I'm stopped in rough neighborhoods. Hope you can raise $100K for her so she can escape her family situation.

That's exactly what would my reaction to that car would be. I think Lamborghini is just that, it's a supermodel. And that's what new Veneno is all about, it's a Lambo and total head turner a true flamboyant bonkers of a car. I love these cars exist and that someone even buys them. Cool neighbor.
