Normally, when you think of efficiency, you imagine a super aerodynamic hybrid or electric vehicle that might be lacking in the performance department. That vision doesn' t seem compatible with a gas-powered roadster that goes from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 5 seconds, with a top speed of 149 mph. But, that's precisely what the Wikispeed SGT01 is: a micro-financed 100+ miles per gallon gasoline-powered prototype that can go 400 miles on a single tank. And, when we say "go," we mean go! Just don't expect any cup holders...

100 miles per gallon! Hoping to sell his cars for less than $10K! He's the man! With more time, money and tweeking of cars so they are more appealing and functional, I hope 200% success for him. If he's really smart, he won't let himself be bought out, or partnered, to the point of his dreams being buried so the big car manufacturers can keep selling their expensive products.

Interesting, man needs a shave and if he gets rid of the Alaska bush hat he could look fairly human.. I have to also wonder about going down a city street at 60 mpg? That is somewhat stupid since he is not qualified to drive on the street, the test should have been on private land in case he "ability" malfunctioned..
