Kathie Black woke up at 2 a.m. Sunday morning to the loudest sound she ever heard: An SUV landing on her neighbor's roof.

In flat-as-a-pancake Houston, an allegedly drunk SUV driver missed a turn, hit a tiny dirt hill and his SUV went flying into the air, reports TV station KHOU. It flipped and landed on a roof.

"I was woken up at 2 a.m. with a loud screech and a boom, boom, boom, the loudest noise I ever heard," Black told the TV station.

No one was seriously hurt, not even the SUV driver who appeared to be texting on his phone as he was loaded into the ambulance. When the sun rose, crowds gathered outside on the street taking photos and video of a crane lifting the car out of the roof. The SUV was destroyed.

The end of the video tells you if the seller won't show you the VIN# on multiple places of the car, walk away. I'm going to add my 2 cents in also. If that situation occurs to you, walk away and CALL THE POLICE! That extra little thing on your part can help the police catch these theives.

This guy definitely drunk to cause such a mess, and a true danger on the road. In other cases where a DUI is more questionable, http://www.FightDUICharges.com can provide free online DUI help.

Wow! I canno believe the driver made it out okay, he should check us out at fastcashforjunkcars.com for a cash offer on his long gone car. In all seriousness, it is amazing that he did escape relatively unscathed.

This is why I chain my SUV down every night. Yes, I have pads cemented into the driveway. This way I know where it's at at all times and that it's not out hurting someone or rolling over or worse yet setting on someone's roof. I know that it's tried to get away a few times with no avail , because I felt the hood in the morning and it was still warm. I have to protect the public from this rouge SUV. At times it's like the SUV gone wild.
