Ferrari has announced the automaker will debut the company's "most powerful HyperFerrari [sic]" at this year's Geneva Motor Show. The news came courtesy of Instagram, where the Italian automaker posted a familiar-looking rendering with a quick note. Details are still remarkably scarce, though Ferrari says the successor to the Enzo throne will be able to "turn into a corner" as quick as a Formula One car thanks in part to the fact that the road-going machine will feature as much downforce as an F1 competitor. From what we've heard so far, the Enzo replacement will boast over 800 horsepower from the combination of a V12 engine and a HY-KERS system.

We've already heard some interesting tidbits about the new machine, including the fact that each model will come with a driver's seat tailor made for the buyer. Ferrari says we can also expect to see a quicker 0-120 mph sprint than the old Enzo with 40 percent fewer emissions. Stay tuned for live photos from the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.

UPDATE: After some looking into it, Ferrari does not appear to have an official Instagram account, or at least doesn't list one alongside its other official social accounts. We're of the mind now that what appeared on this Instragram is not officially from the Horse's mouth.

News source: "Oficialferrari" instagram feed. Oh and they didn't say it'd be able to "turn a corner", they said it'd be able to "turn a cornor". Seems legit.

That account is not from Ferrari but a hoax. Any statement made is not on behalf of Ferrari itself. Please check the facts of your reports before posting something like up as actual news.

Why can't you mention when the Geneva Motor Show is being held when you report that something is being shown there. For 2013, it's March 7 - 17.

I think it's rubbish that the car will have fixed steering and seating positions. Reminds me of the Saleen S7 and its own bespoke driver configuration. Is it to help curb resale of the car? Someone who's 5'7" buys this car and decides to resell it a few years down the road. I come along with my lottery winnings and tell him I'd like to try it out. I squeeze my taller frame into his car and I feel like I'm in a clown car. I tell him that I'm taking my lottery money elsewhere, perhaps a 918 or a P1, where I can actually adjust the cockpit to meet my needs.

The pedals and steering wheel will move, so you can let your wife drive as well, if that is what you want. The remolding of a seat is really not that expensive or hard, should be way less expensive than new set of wheels for example. See this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXanWA1U7aE&feature=player_detailpage#t=35s Also, it WILL NOT BE CALLED F150. Enzo's project name was F152, just like this is internally called F150. I don't know whether it will be F70 or something else, but you can stop the Ford F150 jokes already.

Why would you ever want to sell this car?

Do you think someone buying a used hypercar doesn't have the money to have a seat reconfigured/tailored for their exact needs? It's not like a vehicle such as this will drop into the common man affordable range at any time. So, even used, you still have to be "of means." Regardless, I am sure that there will be some adjustments available (like the speculated adjustable pedals and wheel) that should get most non-primary/2nd owner drivers by temporarily except in the most extreme of cases. I mean, Ferrari is smart enough to know that even if only one person ever drives this car, they are going to need some adjustability in day-to-day control operations.

I wonder who will want to buy the F150? I think it'll be more expensive and rare than the relatively mainstream Aventador, but will it will have the same sex appeal as the Huyara? I doubt it. Plus there is the 918, which is around the corner. Good time to be rich and a great time to be a manufacturer of rare, super expensive cars. Indeed, the gap between rich and poor is widening.

There are plenty of reasons to want the fastest, most exclusive Ferrari in production.

Maybe the "poor" could search for jobs that pay better. Or enroll in classes at a community college and learn some new skills that would put them in demand. The rich invest what they have and make money off it. This is capitalism. The faceless "poor" can do the same. Entrepreneurship has brought many off the street. I am one of them.

The instagram page that posted this is not Ferrari's instagram. It is a private fan instagram giving false information, which explains the poor english. Ferrari.com has links to their Facebook, twitter, google+, youtube, and flicker, but not instagram! anyways, i'm sure they probably are releasing the f150 at Geneva, but this cannot be considered a confirmation of this.

I hope everyone is thinking it.. ..what a stupid name. F150 may not look the same as F-150, but it is pronounced the same.

F150 is just internal name, just like F140 (sorry, remembered wrong project for the other post) was internal name for the Enzo. No worries.
