The man was walking across the street when a police car came barreling his way. As soon as he looked to his right and saw the car coming his way, he jumped up onto the hood. That move may have saved his life, said broadcasters at ABC News World News Now, because he landed on the windshield and then walked away.
"Instead of getting pushed down -- he would've hit his head on the pavement," the announcer said. "I guess that's how it happens."
