These four photos tell us most about the pomegranate-red concept Kia will be bringing to this year's 2013 Geneva Motor Show. An accompanying 66-word press release gives away nothing, so we're left to wonder if this is some kind of Nissan Juke rival that the South Korean company is toying with.

Even with the exaggerated dimensions of concept cars, this unnamed "urban concept car" looks somewhat larger than the average subcompact hatch, and there are some seriously Juke-ish lines around the rear three-quarter. This concept, however, appears to be a two-door model, unlike the Juke with its hidden rear handles, but that doesn't mean a production model couldn't add a couple of entry points.

We'll know for sure in March. You'll have to make the four high-res photos and those 66 words in the release below last until then.

Kia concept to provoke at Geneva
Frankfurt, 23 January 2013 – Kia is set to deliver a provocative and racy new urban concept car at this year's Geneva Motor Show. With the company's signature tiger-nose morphing into a mischievous yet friendly grille and headlight arrangement, coupled with strong styling lines that exude speed and energy from every angle, Kia's newest concept vehicle is guaranteed to attract attention.

You know who needs to make a fun little car/suv thingy with character? Subaru.
Yeah. Almost wish Subaru weren't so cheap (or broke) and would've gotten Schreyer instead of Kia. Then we'd get the awesome Subaru engineering with good looks to match. But oh well, Kia is killing it with these designs.

KIA is on a roll with Schreyer...even Audi/VW has admitted they were idiots for letting him go. Can't wait to see what this is at the Geneva show. Like someone said below..looks more like a Mini competitor..or A1 competitor. Hopefully KIA gets their A5 equivalent out soon...they are working on their first 'sports' coupe....can't wait to see it.

I like the juke, the only problem is that the ground clearance is not real! It has 4.5 inches because of low transmission. What would be cool is a juke like vehicle with actual 8 inches of ground clearance and subaru levels of soft roading or even better jeep like levels of offroading. Right now that vehicle does not exist. Closest one is the LandRover Evoque. What I would like to see is a 30,000 or less Juke like small, sporty vehicle with all weather and 4x4 prowess. Closest thing ever was the Isuzu 2 door I forget the name that was cool. Ahead of its time.

Looks more like a mini cooper rival to me?

If it's truly like the Juke and offering AWD with a turbo 4 (but a more powerful engine) I'll likely pick up one.

Lol yea the nismo. Comes with 217hp AWd or FWD 6 speed manual. So dont give up hope on the 2013 sentra nismo

Cool-looking concept. I hope it turns into a hot hatch of some sort; the market could certainly use another one of those. Perhaps the most interesting style element here is the nose treatment, which suggests a new Kia corporate face. It's more elegant, though a bit more generic, than the current one--and runs strongly against the current trend for tall, aggressive grille treatments. The rear end, on the other hand, contains bland bits of Lincoln and Dodge. But who knows, this is only a sketch of a concept.

Will KIA lie about the mileage like they did on the Soul by 6 mpg?
If it's a hybrid, they'll lie like Ford has done with all of theirs.

This looks so much better than a Juke.
Not a hard thing to accomplish. Although if the Juke looked more like this without the lights on the hood it would beat this thing:

Juke rival? Try Veloster. This seems to be Kia's take on that Hyundai product. And instead of doing the odd 3 door coupe layout they went with a traditional 2 door plus hatch design.

      I love the juke.
