The new season of Top Gear is set to launch at the end of this month, and the BBC has dropped a quick teaser to get everyone excited. The spot takes a look at the show from the wardrobe department's point of view, and gives us a few glimpses of what Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond have been up to since we last saw them. From squaring off in a Lexus LFA against a fighter plane and playing rugby with cheap cars to bashing through the jungle in the bug-eyed Subaru WRX shown above, the crew has been plenty busy.

Sure, the clips show a few recycled ideas, but these guys have been at it for a spell now... some repetition is allowed. Look for the new season to launch on January 27. After a full year without the show on our screens, we're more than ready to see the new season. You can check out the first teaser below for yourself.

Hate to say this and I love TG, but their content is looking dated. The amount of information and auto videos that come out daily up to the minute makes a 6 episode run after a vacancy of 6 + months look stale. If TG wants to stay relevant they are going to need to step up the amount of episodes or content because by the time they shoot and get back on air the blogs have covered everything they could feature in 3 seasons. I hate to say it but the series is showing it's age these days. They are rehashing the same format and the same kind of thing. The rugby with cars in the preview is perfect proof. TG needs to adapt or it's going to die. You can only hold onto a show because of the personalities for so long, eventually the content needs to match the personas. Oh but wait...watch me get 10 negative votes because I dare criticize something.

Been saying this in the UK for the last ten years. Some people are pleased far too easily. You can't criticize Top Gear its an Institution ! Hmmm that's where two of the presenters should be.....

People don't watch TG for up-to-the-minute automotive information. They watch it because it is one of the most entertaining shows on the air.

Didn't even need to see the video. The screenshot with the words "Top Gear" was enough for me to really look forward to this season.

If I may, you might be taking Clarkson a little bit too seriously. He is funny and rather well knowledged about a lot of things. Regardless, it is about having fun.

Exactly...see what I mean? I've come to learn on AB you get voted down if you actually think or criticize anything. Drone on AB zombies...all is well here, nothing to question, nothing to think about. Some people could watch reiterations of the same thing 20 times in a row and they will be satisfied. See my reviews above of TG and my opinion. Watch the negative votes roll in. Zombies are pretty predictable.
