As many people in the Los Angeles area watched a live feed of a car chase on their televisions, one viewer got a taste of the real thing.

YouTube user Jason Lee posted a video of his television screen, which was carrying live coverage of the chase in Inglewood on Sunday night. Soon after filming begins, the volume of the sirens increases and it becomes evident that Lee is right next to the action, as the car chase rips around a corner and flys right past his window.

According to KTLA, the car chase lasted about two hours and the driver displayed gang symbols directed at police and news cameras. The man was eventually stopped when police punctured his tires with a spike strip. According to police, the man, whose name was not released, had a number of weapons in the car.
