Today's the day, folks. After so many months (heck, years) of anticipation, we are finally seeing the all-new 2014 Chevrolet C7 Corvette today on the eve of the 2013 Detroit Auto Show.

We'll have a full deep dive with official images and all the details posted in short order, but considering just how big of a deal this is, we're posting the live stream of the car's official unveiling in Detroit tonight. This way, you can pretend you're right here with us as we bear witness to the completely revised General Motors halo car in the metal for the first time.

Click on the video player below to watch the live stream, which officially kicks off at 7:00 PM EST.

The 1963 Stingray design is very agreeable to even non Corvette fans. I don't see this car having the same kind of appeal as that. It's a better design than what they had before but its still taking its cues from the "bigger boys" in the $100k+ segments. The 1963 Stingray didn't care about that stuff and that made it most original. This car doesn't do that at all.

So far, based on the videos they are showing, the interior does not look that great. Seems to be the same charcoal gray plastic.

When I look at it, it doesnt say "Corvette" but I think its a good thing. Good to see GM taking some risks unlike the Viper(which is just a trace of the old one) It looks more serious than that last one. The proportions looks pretty good. Its going to help keeping it fresh for many years. Love how the dash wraps around the driver like the last Supra. Nice features/details on the IP/center stack. Not a huge fan of the rear and the dark plastic vents but I think overall the car was done in good taste.

Interior still looks like total ****. They should have just copied a European car like the Koreans do.

Slightly awkward intro, but one thing I like about Corvette is that seeing it in person is always VERY different from seeing it recorded. The pictures/videos never quite do it justice as seeing it in person/on the road, and this one seems to have a lot of detail to it. I like that they created a "cockpit" atmosphere. I know its easy to troll it, but am very curious what kinds of materials they used. Definitely looks better.
