When planning the first ever Technology of the Year Award, our colleagues at AOL Autos decided early on that it would be great to give away the winning technology. Since all of this tech comes attached to vehicles, that meant giving away another car!

With the Chrysler UConnect system having won the inaugural award this year, they decided the prize should be a brand new 2013 Dodge Dart equipped with the UConnect system.

The giveaway starts today and runs through January 25th, so make sure to enter here for your chance to win a new Dart valued at $23,820. If you want to know more about the new Dart, click here to read our review of it.

Someone needs to remind the AOL family forcing people to like a page for a giveaway is a violation of terms, always has been.

People do win these things. There isn't always a plant. I am one such winner.. of a Dart no-less. Won one on the RealSimple/Pinterest contest back in like October. Built myself a loaded Limited.. waiting on delivery.

I would love to win a Dodge Dart, but I wouldn't be able to afford the taxes on it, lol.

I am not a fan of the Dart either, but am entering; it is a trivial amount of effort to enter, and if I did win I would sell the car (or take cash value if they have that available), pay the taxes, and still come out at least $15k ahead.

@damienreiduae "Took less than a day from UConnect winning the "AOL Tech of the Year" award to giving away a free Dodge. Hmmm...." My thoughts exactly. Can you say "shameless sales departments sham"?

It would be cooler if you could pick the version of the Dart you want instead of just take the one that AOL gives you. I'd pick the Alfa Romeo Giulietta version if it was up to me.

I bought the rallye edition about 4 months ago and it is probably the best car i have ever owned. I have the 1.4T with manual tranny. Very solid car and very well built. Red exterior with black and red interior, best combo for me personally. Now this car is built with a an Italian chasis and Italian engine and tranny. That is the problem with most Americans because they are not used to driving the way Europeans drive, most do not even know how to drive a stick shift. Does anybody here even know that the 1.4T Multiair won awards in Europe, and that even Mercedes is using the Multiair technology. Please do your homework before you spew your ignorance.
