Once BMW unveiled its all-new 4 Series coupe, we knew it wouldn't take long for digital renderings of the more powerful M4 version to hit the Internet. F30Post worked with digital artist Wild Speed to create some really great renderings of the upcoming M4, and also compiled a good amount of information based on sources and educated hunches.

While it doesn't take much to imagine what the M4 will look like based on the styling of current M cars and recent spy shots, these renders finally give us something to ogle at until the car finally arrives. New cues include the more aggressive front fascia, bulging hood, carbon roof and bigger wheels and brakes. Wild Speed was also kind enough to show images in a spectrum of shiny colors.

As for the car's details, the article expects the M4 to be lighter, faster and more efficient than the current M3 using a "multi-turbo" inline-six engine producing somewhere around 395 pound-feet of torque. The M3 sedan could go on sale by the middle of 2014, but the M4 coupe isn't expected to hit the scene for another couple years.

The name is here to stay. Can we move past that, and focus on the car, which is stunning, and will likely continue to be at the top of its class. The last generation E92 335i, despite its reliability issues, was as close to perfect as most cars can get all around. It drove amazingly, had a lot of space for a coupe, and was stupid fast, so much so that BMW had to lower its performance with the new N55 to make room for the M3. I can only fault BMW for their absurd pricing.

Oh look, someone's been playing with the little sliders in Photoshop... What would possess someone to spend hours doing this? We will find put what it looks like soon enough. More importantly we will know what kind of performance and technology it will be packing

I'm expecting a base price of 65k and with options up to 80k. Admittedly, it looks rather sexy, but can I even afford it? No!

Take out the HDR lighting and other photoshop gimmickry and this car looks good, but its not gorgeous or anything.

Why confuse the model line-up nomenclature to differentiate a 2-door from a 4-door?

Because they're ********. And typically the sedans and coupes have different body lines anyways...they're slightly different cars...but on a relatively similar platform.

This looks mean as hell. Too bad it'll mostly be driven by douchebags with something to prove.

It'll look good alright; on the side of the road, on the back of a tow truck, in a junk yard, in the mechanic shop 20 days a month, and behind the ATS-V, where it belongs.

Who was it that had that campaign a few years ago "five cars under five (Seconds to 60)" and then had auto-journalists barely get one vehicle to hit 4.9 to 60? Cad something....

Not sure why my comment was chopped, but last I checked 4.9 was less then 5.

You can just hear BMW designers fapping over finally receiving some positive styling praise from the public. So they decided that it felt so good it deserved a double dip. Release the same picture again just in different colours. Man they gotta be desperate.

You do realize these images were not released by BMW but by a auto or BMW enthusiast. Wait, of course you don't, hence your comment.
