Security cameras captured a remarkable scene on Thursday morning when the elderly driver of an SUV lost control of their car and smashed through a jewelry store.

Four people were inside the Lebanon, TN store when the incident occurred. Amazingly, not one of them was hurt, according to WKRN Nashville.

The vehicle eventually stopped in the back of the store, where owner Shawn Smith usually works. He told WKRN that he owes his life to the new puppy he had adopted just that morning.

"He started barking, so I took him home. I literally walked from my office maybe two minutes before the crash," he said.

The driver of the vehicle was also unhurt. It is believed that a medical condition caused him to lose control of the vehicle.

The estimated damage to the store is at least $100,000, according to WKRN.
