Kim Ridley, owner of Ridley's Rides in Oregon, is sure to be in the running for the 2012 Father of the Year award. Wanting to sell his 1977 Datsun on eBay, Ridley decided to employ an age-old advertising technique: Sex sells. The issue? The sexy woman he shot draped over his car was actually his 20-year-old daughter Lexxa.

Since it was posted, the ad has gone viral and drawn fierce criticism from the media and the Internet in general.

Even amid the criticism for using his daughter in such suggestive ways, Ridley remained defiant, telling AdFreak, "If I felt bad about it, I wouldn't do it."

When a commenter on the eBay advertisement asked – we think in jest – whether the "porn star" came with the vehicle? Ridley answered, "Nice way to dalk about my daughter!!!"

At least he has some shard of respect for her.

The photos are very suggestive, with the "model" wearing hardly anything clothes and posing in some very interesting positions.

One of the photos even showed the '77 Datsun through the vantage point of the model's spread legs and thong-covered backside.

Per the ebay ad, the auction winner was required to put down a $500 deposit after winning with a bid of $7,500. Kim Ridley has a 100 percent positive feedback rating on the popular website.

UPDATE: Well it looks like we were had. Ridley just told KVAL-TV that the whole thing was a joke that had gone too far and that the pictures he said were of his 20-year-old daughter Lexxa were actually of a family friend.

The woman remains only identified by her first name, but she is definitely not Ridley's daughter. We can't fault him for being a bad father anymore, but is really the way you should be using your friends?
