After the tease, the Volvo V60 Racing was unveiled last week at Brazil's São Paulo Auto Show. A motorsports-tuned version of the V60 wagon, it wears a throwback paint scheme that celebrates the Volvo 850 station wagon that competed in the British Touring Car Championship in 1994.

More than 250 horsepower goes from the 2.0-liter, four-cylinder T5 through a six-speed dual-clutch transmission, on to 18-inch wheels wearing Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires. Volvo says the wagon is indeed track-ready, and we hope to get some video proof of that in short order.

The two best looking cars that Volvo is now producing, the V60 and V40, are not being sold in the US. They shouldn't wonder why sales are down. I REALLY want one of these two cars but I'll probably end up with an A3 or X1 since it's not an option.

      Is the T5 really a 4-cylinder now?

The non-US T5 has been Ford's 2.0 GTDI engine since the S60 came out a few years ago. They have a T3 which is 1.6 GTDI, T4 is a low pressure 2.0 GTDI with 205hp/240 ft-lb, and the T5 is a high pressure 2.0 GTDI with 240-250hp.

I love the new S/V60 and yet this just doesn't look as badass in that paint. The absence of "V60" in massive letters on the side is also a bit of a let down

Just curious...is the V60 wagon sized closer to an Audi A4 or A6 Avant?

        Same way Audi's 3.0 TFSI is not turbo'd and a 328i is not a 2.8L I6 but a 2.0 turbo. They changed the meaning of the numbers/letters.
