The Lexus LF-CC, a new two-door hybrid coupe concept, will make its debut at the Paris Motor Show later this month. Featuring the L-finesse design language seen on the LF-LC Concept that debuted in Detroit back in January, the LF-CC Concept is likely a preview of the next-generation Lexus IS that will be introduced in the near future.

While its still unclear how much of the styling will make it to a future production vehicle, particularly the bold iteration of the spindle grille, triple LED headlights and intricate taillights, the overall design of the LF-CC looks to be easily transferred over to a road-going Lexus.

Hybrid models have become commonplace throughout the Lexus lineup over the past few years, most recently with the ES, and now it appears the IS will be getting a fuel-sipping variation as well. Under the hood, the LF-CC features a new 2.5-liter hybrid powertrain, one that Lexus says will be used throughout its model lineup in the future, with various technologies to further reduce fuel consumption.

Scroll down for the press release from Lexus and check back next week for more details and photos as part of our live coverage of the Paris Motor Show.

I've been waiting for this day for so long. This concept single handily BLOWS away the competition in terms of design and athleticism. And, that interior...ooooo weeee! I can't wait to see the final production model. I'm definitely in the ranks for one of these bad boys.

This is not a particularly good looking design. I was not a fan of the spindle-grill from day-one but with Lexus' previous LF-LC concept car, the overall design looked pretty darn good. This? Yeah, not so much. Looks like they have run out of ideas and just are throwing anything out there and trying to make it work. It doesn't.

Haters will hate, no matter what. This is a good design from Lexus. I have not been a fan of their cars lately but this one I understand.

So this is even uglier than the last concept Lexus showed .

You mean the one that won a ton of design awards? Perhaps the real issue is that you have bad taste.

The best things about this design are the side profile and the color. I hope they tone down that grille. Still, Lexus should get some credit for taking some bold chances with their styling. At least it's not boring like the new 3 series. But then even the current IS looks better than the F30 3 series.

Very nice. Surely the new IS will be even better to drive and still be reliable. BMW has a lot to learn from the latest crop of Lexus.
