Mazda has the very elegant notion that you'll want to be with the 2014 Mazda6 all day and all of the night: a two-minute piece highlighting the Kodo design and Skyactiv technologies underneath the new sedan puts the Mazda6 on a salt plain with two cellists riffing the hit by The Kinks.

There's rolling footage to show you how "the wild and dynamic expressions of motion artistically realize a powerful presence" in that seriously Soul Red body. We should get more info on what other expression it intends to bring our way when we see it at the Paris Motor Show. For now, you can enjoy it and the original version of "All Day and All of the Night" in the videos below.

Call me crazy, (everybody else does) but with the RX-8 gone shouldn't there be room for an MX-6 again? If it's related to this it would be SO pretty.

The British invasion and the Kinks, a great era in music history.

The commercial gave me the chills. They would do well do make a 30 sec version for TV. I was just thinking yesterday that the cello is probably my favorite instrument. It really put the 6 in a classic, sexy context.

Ford has nothing to do with this Mazda. And anyway, Ford used more Mazda bits than other way round at any point of their partnership.

What does political affiliation have to do with your opinions on Mazdas? Go crawl under a bridge, troll.

I really wish that I could make out what you've just typed but, alas, I can't. Like the others have said, Ford has nothing to do with this one.

I got goosebumps watching the video. I'm serious. The car is incredibly good looking in motion. Parked next to the new Mazda 6, one would have to treat the Passat as a box Mazda was shipped in.

Hopefully we'll see Camrys and Accords disappear in favor of this beautiful car.

Really handsome car. The only nitpick I have is that the rear looks too weak, unlike the front, which looks way better than the big-mouth of the new Ford Fusion.

it does look good in motion. don't like the cello music though. I muted it and played the original song with the video instead.
