Top Gear USA, Jeep pickup, five cars to avoid, Dodge out of NASCAR

Episode #295 of the Autoblog Podcast is here, and this week Dan and Zach are joined by Rutledge Wood and Adam Ferrara of the History Channel's Top Gear USA. The crew chats about the new season of Top Gear, which starts tonight at 9:00 PM Eastern (8:00 Central) on the History Channel before turning to some topics. The awesomeness of a Jeep Wrangler Pickup, the death of the Jeep Liberty, five popular cars to avoid, and Dodge pulling out of NASCAR are the official topics, but there's a lot of in-between in this conversation. Your questions and comments power the end of the 'cast, and for those of you who hung with us live on our UStream channel, thanks for taking the time. Keep reading for our Q&A module for you to scroll through and follow along, too. Thanks for listening!

I don't know what you've done differently this time, but the sound quality is terrible. Everyone's voices sound muffled and there is a lot of static in the background. It's quite hard to listen to without wearing headphones and really concentrating on trying to decipher every word.

I cleaned it up a little bit, but I think it was the combo of the conference call we set up to facilitate the appearance of the TGUSA guys making Skype kind of unhappy. -Dan
