Remember when we announced that our sister site, AOL Autos, was giving away a Mini Countryman? That was the beginning of AOL Autos Giveaway, a new program in which the site will give away cars and auto accessories to its Facebook fans. At the same time, we at Autoblog ran our own series of sweepstakes and gave away fun stuff like a LEGO set and R/C car, and more useful swag like a battery charger and garage wall organizing system.

We're going to make these giveaways a regular thing for both sites. More cars. More stuff. We're gathering up radar detectors, GPS devices, bike racks, cargo carriers, etc., so stay tuned for more stuff, and keep liking AOL Autos and Autoblog on Facebook, because that's all we ask in return for entering the sweepstakes.

In the comment section below, let us know what stuff (including cars) you would most like to be in the running to receive. We are taking these suggestions seriously.

We know what you are thinking? Ugh....nobody ever wins that stuff. Wrong. And to prove it, check out this post from AOL Autos that retraces the program and includes some of what we thought about our long-term Mini Countryman, as well as who won the car we gave away. Hint: The winner could be doing your knee replacement in about seven or eight years.

Seems kind of ironic that Autoblog wants people to leave their site and go to Facebook...why can't we enter for your competition here on your site? I'm not going to follow you on Facebook, Autoblog -- and it's not because I'm not a frequent reader, I definitely am.

How about something really interesting like sponsoring a team for "24 hours of LeMons" as a giveaway. Give them the $500 for the car, $3k for safety gear, and cover their entrance fees. Your investment will be fairly small (<$5k), and you get an instant series of articles as you chronicle their progress. I know the perfect lemons team for you to start with...

Oh, and if you want a suggestion for what to give away: A track day prize would be awesome. Oh, yeah, and how about not requiring a Facebook account next time you gives give something away?

OK, so this may sound like a bad idea to most of you...but how about giving away a fully loaded Town & Country or other maxed out minivan? I have 4 kids, and cannot afford to buy a fully loaded minivan ($40K+++...seriously!!??!!). Would LOVE to win one though! I also would suggest some other form of "family" hauler for those of us with more than the 'average' number of people in their family. Perhaps a loaded Ford Flex or something similar. (And the bashing begins in 3...2...1...)

I would not mind winning this, or anything really.
