As we wrote in our review of the 2013 Dodge Dart, "Dodge wants the Dart to be all things to all buyers." So in addition to the 150 accessories, that of course means it needs plenty of graphics packages. Dodge-Dart.org forum member Moparsrt has posted (some admittedly grainy) pictures of a few of the 20 graphics options that will also be available, and the images we have for now include a variety of stripes in different configurations, from the classic twin-stripe over the middle to pinstripes along the sides.

This is only four out of 20, though, and Moparsrt says there'll be one for every taste. We wonder if there'll be one to mimic the Dart GTS Tribute model – we figure there won't be one to mimic Pastrana's RallyCross model. The packages haven't showed up yet at Mopar.com, but we're told they should appear in accessory catalogs soon.

I've never seen a "graphics package" that looked good after 4 or 5 years. Even if they hold up to the sun and weather (if they are under the clear coat), they tend to look tacky as all hell after a couple of years.

So ford gts or vipers don't look good?

Do those sit outside all day, every day, exposed to the elements like your typical C segment car? No, they don't, and that's why they still look good.

They were just two examples that would refute the "I've never seen..." I know of a lot of cars that are 20 years old and daily drivers that stripes or other graphics look just fine. Cars you take care of look good, cars that aren't well taken care of aren't.

I tend to prefer the non-striped Vipers. Concerning the Ford GT.. hmm, there you might actually have me. It looks stunning in white and blue stripe, but even better in that subtle light grey strip on medium grey paintjob. But its a stunning car either way - stripe or no stripe. And its not a car that the average person sees even once a year, let alone on a daily basis. So I still stick with my feelings that graphics tend to look tacky in the long run.

I love it when people are encouraged to show their creativity by personalizing their vehicle with 20 preapproved graphics. I can just imagine Michaelangelo doing the Sistine Chapel with Colorforms.

I hope the Dart is successful, but no stickers for me thank you. For two very reasons: 1. Those double wide stripes give the car sporting credentials it just doesn't have. 2. Resell time. Nobody is going to buy a car decorated according to someone else's definition of "taste". Having said that, these kits will probably be a big hit.

they seem to be working out well for the Raptor and various muscle cars.

It's a Chrysler product -- the adhesive vinyl stripes should help keep parts from falling off.

Awsome. It'll be screaming "look how flashy and fast I am" as a real performance car drives by.

Crossing my fingers for an AWD SRT4....... Otherwise I could care less about this vehicle.

You could care less. So that means you care some. The phrase is "could not care less."

It's a conditional. Until they fail to provide AWD, I do care about the vehicle. My form was correct. Until they ruin it, I could care less about this vehicle. Unless you fell into the common trap of thinking I meant to say "I could not care less". It's okay that you tried however.

AWD, LOL guess again. If you want AWD sign up for a Charger because it's not even in the conceptual parts bin for this car.

Worst. Troll. Today. "Marchionne also tipped his company's hand on the development of a Dodge Dart SRT model, saying the machine is coming. Right now, the company is simply trying to decide "how big an engine we stick in it." " "Ralph Gilles has confirmed an AWD version of the Dart, and an SRT is expected as a late arrival. So is a CNG Dart for fleets. " "All wheel drive models will be announced later; and an SRT4 is expected but not guaranteed." Autoblog, Motor Trend, Allpar, Wikipedia. Now stop being silly and move along troll.

Yeah, unless they come up with a decal that makes it all wheel drive I wouldn't be holding my breath for that one.
