Sébastien Loeb is giving both Global RallyCross and the X Games a go in Los Angeles this Sunday: he'll line up with other drivers like fellow World Rally Championship title winner Marcus Grönholm, Travis Pastrana and Baja 500 winner Brian Menzies when he takes part in the GRC event at ESPN's Summer X Games.

He's been testing his Citroën DS3 XL GRC car, which is more powerful and handles differently than his WRC car. He'll tell you all about it in the video below.

I was excited until the event's safety lapses resulted in two big-name drivers being injured. I'm not interested in watching rallycross cars run head-on into steel walls and concrete barriers.

Seriously love And respect Seb. My first born is named after him (back in 2006) and the master hasn't lost a championship since then. Even got to meet him a few times at various rallies.

If Gronholm and Loeb are attending, what is Pastrami doing there? Begging for autographs?

And Loeb killed everyone as expected even after the race had to be restarted again. Not surprised at all...

IMO his wrc car has far less power than it should. This looks great thought :)

I wish I knew who his sponsors were - if only they'd make their branding more prominent. Oh well...

Marcus was hospitalized last night after a practice crash. Not likely to race today. http://rally4menu.blogspot.com/2012/06/gronholm-injured-at-xgames.html
