While the sedan is hardly our favorite Fiesta – that would be the forthcoming, Europe-only ST – as long as Ford still feels the need to sell a four-door sedan we suppose it's only fair that it get the same updates as the hatchback. We saw spy shots of the hatch back in March, but now we've got images of the sedan as well.

Our spy shooters caught the Fiesta near the Nürburgring, and it looks to be sporting the same new headlights with integrated LEDs, new fascias, and a different hood design, just like the hatch. We're still hearing the same rumors about the Fiesta getting Ford's new 1.0-liter, three-cylinder EcoBoost.

Check out all the high-res images in our gallery.

So Ford is putting the Fusion's U Mad headlights plus Edward Munch-grille on all the cars now?

Oh great, here comes the barrage of idiots going @pesh!t over this thing because it looks JUST like an Aston Martin. Give me a break. There is no hope for the Fiesta sedan, that thing is just heinous. The proportions and profile are just all wrong. A hackjob grille and headlight treatment isn't going to fix it. Or the messy interior.

I don't care about the looks. But I do want one just for the engine. That 1.0L Turbo is pretty sweet. I hope it hits the states soon.

Same here. Can't wait for the 1.0L engine in the hatchback Fiesta. I'm all over that when it hits the showroom.

Looks like those squiggles are trying to hide a slight bulge in the hood. Anyone else see that? Does the road going Fiesta over there have that bulge?

That bulge was added to help boost the 1.0L EcoBoost engine’s self esteem..,

The first thing my mind processed when I saw the image of the Fiesta was the mask that Hannibal Lechter wore during his meeting with the governor in Silence of the Lambs......."I ate that Chevy Spark raw, with some fava beans and a nice chianti.......FTHFTHFTHFTHFTHFTHFTTH!"

Love the look of the hatch, hate the look of the sedan. Ditto for the Hyundai Accent. I doubt that will change here.

Finally. The trend toward smaller headlights. Plus one, Ford.
