Mercedes-Benz and its AMG division wanted to thank the two million viewers of its various videos, so it dropped a C63 AMG at the top of the Corkscrew at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and recorded it drifting down. The treat was wasn't as sweet as it should have been due to an editor who got a bit too happy with the "Cut" button, and watchers said as much.

So, in a nice bit of "Here, let's fix that," AMG has uploaded aerial footage of the uncut drift. Now that we know AMG takes requests, feel free to leave them in the Comments section. On your way there, scroll down to check out the new vid.

What's the point of watching a car drift if you can't hear the engine doing its part in the process? I swear the production geeks for these videos know nothing about what car enthusiasts want. That music was lame, real lame.

Your IS-F with you at the wheel won't murder anything. The fact that you're calling this car a failure and slow tells everyone here that you know jack **** about cars.

"German cars have cheap interiors" says the dude with the clock of a VCR or cheap microwave in his Toyota.

Your Toyota wouldn't exist if it weren't for the "Euro **** cars" that are copied and have L badges. Lexus more specifically copies BMW though. Also worth noting - BMW drivers have the connotation of being douchey. So you must be the king douche of the world, seeing as you drive a Jap copy of one and think it's the best car in the world.

That's interesting. If Toyota copied BMW or Mercedes, their cars would die after 20000 miles as well.

I'd call the whole F(ail)-Sport division of Lexus a failure... Who the hell picks the letter 'F' to signify the sporty models of their brand? Yeah yeah Fuji racetrack and whatever. But seriously? "HEY GUYSS I CAN BEAT UR AMG AND M AND RS WITH MY EFFFFFFFF" LMFAO

C63 is a Failure. They charge $30,000 extra for a slightly faster engine.

While hooning and showboating is nice at times, i'd be far more interested in how fast it can get around that track. And that's what separates a BMW M driver from a C63/CTS-V driver.

And what is that? The M driver knows what the back of the other cars look like.

So are you denying that BMW drivers are more performance oriented and more involved in motorsports(grassroots) to see something as a lap time with higher importance than how well it can drift around a track? Been to any track days lately? Let's start a tally of how manny Caddy & MB drivers show up in contrast to BMW people.

That would be true if a BMW M was faster around a track than a CTS-V.

I wish people would shut the hell up about lap times. That's obviously not the goal of the driver nor the video. I GET WAY BETTER LAP TIME WITH CORVETTE. IT BETTER. MY CAR BEST. IT FAST. MERCEDES STUPID.

I totally agree with theboyracer. What's the point of buying a car that falls apart after 20000 miles. I don't care if it can go 0-60 in 4 seconds. On top of that Mercedes cars look boring to downright ugly. People buy them just because it has a three pointy star on it.

He mustve gotten the occasional lemon or trashed the car. Like the youtube idiots who jumped a KTM dirt bike (best brand out there) some ridiculous length jump wide open speed and flat landed it, the steering stem snapped. DUH, Pros who leap that far use technique and the down side of the jump to minimize the harsh landing, there are some things no car or bike can withstand. As the proud owner of an E55 with 50k miles, it still feesl tighter than some new cars of lesser pedigree. If you are ham-fisted, you can destroy anything. :-/ just my opinion.
