Ben Collins is staying busy. The former Stig has once again returned to stunt driving, this time for the upcoming James Bond film Skyfall. According to The Mirror, Collins has been spotted filming in Istanbul, where he took the wheel to ram a Land Rover into an Audi during a crash scene.

The stunt vehicle used a special cage on the roof, where the stunt driver can manipulate the SUV with the actors inside. Collins has a long history of working with the Bond franchise. The TV personality turned stuntman worked on both "Quantum of Solace" and "Casino Royale," though he's also worked on other films as well.

In Collins' memoir, "The Man in the White Suit," the driver turned author describes how he juggled his time in the Army, on Top Gear, as a race driver and a stunt driver at the same time. As you may recall, the BBC attempted to prevent the memoir from being published at all, but lost the lawsuit in which it alleged revealing the Stig's identity would breach Collins' contract.

I read his book and before I did, I vilified him based on what the media kept saying the book revealed to me a man like any other just trying to do well for himself and trying to advance all the while juggling personal life and the Army (extremely commendable) and racing and TG I wish the man all the best. I think he's cool

I never did understand all the hate and honestly the way the 3 Top Gear gents handled it made me think less of them. Here is a guy that has been driving for them for years, doing one hell of a job too I might add, and never getting any of the credit. He did a lot to protect the 'mystique' of the Stig over his tenure. He definitely deserved more respect from them than being the target of a drive by shooting.

I wish him the best. I know a lot of people hate on him for revealing himself as the stig but honestly i can simpathize. When your part of the show, watching everyone else making money hand over fist and yet cant even say your part of the show much less ask for more money. Combine that with pretty much anyone thats ever worked for him (James may aside) saying hes a genuinely nice guy, again all the best Ben!

      Good for him!

I have zero ill feelings toward him. He did what he needed in his career, and didn't put the interests of a huge corporation ahead of that. Obviously he is a great driver, having posted times similar to any other person they've ever had drive for them. While I am no fan of the new Bond movies, I do appreciate a good car chase now and then.
