Spring means lots of things to lots of people, but for Jeep owners, this time of year points to just one main event on the calendar: Easter Jeep Safari. This year, Jeep and Mopar have put their heads together to create another group of awesome concepts. All told, the automaker will roll out six new vehicles in the desert, including the Jeep Wrangler Apache, Jeep J-12 and Jeep Mighty FC concepts – the last of which is pictured above. We can't say much about what the Apache will bring to the table, but the J-12 looks to pay homage to the old Kaiser Jeep M715.

Another year, another Jeep pickup truck that'll likely never make it to production. Sigh.

Still, the truck should be as cool as can be. Speaking of awesome, the Mighty FC teaser hints to the resurrection of the long deceased Forward Control. Our hearts ache from how killer this is. All six concepts will be unveiled in Moab on March 31. Hit the jump for the brief press release.

Oh Jeep, why must you do this to us? Every year you bring the most amazing truck concepts to Moab, and every year you refuse to put them into production. Do you hate us? Did we do something bad to you? We buy all the Jeeps you make. We're even buying the Compass. Give us a break. Give us what we want. Give us a truck.

No kidding right? I would be willing to do horrible things to obtain a Nukizer! Every time I look at it..... I just go "aaaaaauuuuuuggggghhhhh yeah that would be SOOOOOO awesome!!!" WHY JEEP WHY do you haunt my dreams?!

That J-12 concept drawing has me dreaming of a Ram based J-12 Gladiator and Wagoneer

The FC was awesome! Dannnngg. Bring back the FC already! The other jeep they should resurrect is the FJ3 fleetvan.

I think you're just saying that (about the fleetvan) to let everyone know you know about very obscure Jeeps

Sadly they will probably remain concepts.

That's a bet I'll take AM. As we converse here, Chrysler is busy in Toledo expanding every inch of space to create more Jeep variants off the Wrangler platform including a less expensive version for export markets. These concepts may not come to fruition exactly as you see them now, but something is cooking at Jeep and it's not just smoke.

No idea why they hold back from building a Jeep pick-up. They seem to forget that such an animal would bring OTHER truck buyers into the Chrysler umbrella that wouldn't have bought a Ram anyway!

If they build one it will be on the next gen Wrangler. No use in them making major tooling changes to offer a pickup when this gen has been around for so long.

Yup. Something along the lines of the old CJ8 Scrambler would be perfect.

Just when I was starting to think that the internet was for more than adult information, I see this FC mockup. I'd buy one in a heartbeat if it featured a pair of solid axles.

Bringing back the Jeepster and FC built in an otherwise low utilized Chrysler plant would be awesome.

Now that you mention it, I recall the Wrangler Renegade and Pork Chop concepts. I just remember him being at Ford prior to that and kinda lost track.

More like a resurrection of the FC-150.

I know you guys think Elmo is a troll but he's right. This is a throwback to the FC-150/170 Do a google image search, this has nothing to tod with a unimog.
