We've seen plenty of Evora GTE models over the last two years. Some concepts, some production variants and now this, a carbon fiber-bodied Evora to celebrate Lotus' Formula 1 heritage and christened by none other than Kimi Raikkonen.

Like the rest of the GTE Evoras, this variant is a road-going version of Lotus' ALMS car currently campaigned by Alex Job Racing. Power is provided by the same 444-horsepower supercharged V6, with overall weight reduced by some 200 pounds, making it the fastest roadworthy Lotus in the company's history. And it's only fitting that the F1 edition wears the marque's storied black and gold livery both inside and out.

Pretty cool livery. I can't wait for Melbourne, I think this season is going to be pretty good. I don't get the feeling RBR is going to run away from the competition like the previous years. Hoping for Lotus to get into their old form this season with Kimi.

This is an epic driver's car. I don't understand why the tools will buy an 911 or an R8 over this.

Good news chaps. Dacia has a booth right next to lotus so now jk will be much more efficient about hating both cars.
