The Artega GT has no lack of fans in the ranks of the Autoblog editorial staff. With a shape that shows the likes of the Lotus Evora and Porsche Cayman how things ought to be done and a 3.6-liter V6 with 300 horsepower, the Artega never fails to attract our glances when we see it on the European show stands. But this year, the small German manufacturer is tipped to have a surprise up its sleeve.

According to reports, Artega is preparing to unveil a roadster version of the shapely coupe at the fast-approaching Geneva Motor Show. Mechanics are expected to stay the same, but without a roof, this highly desirable sportscar could get even more so.

I have loved this for many years, in my opinion one of the best looking cars on the road. now if they would only offer it as a roller - less the engine, so we could bring them into the US.

I could do better and I only had a few semesters of Transportation Design training. I seriously want to know the scam that high-end, supercars are all about. Every week we hear about some new, overpriced, pathetically-designed hypercar. If there wasn't some way to scam dumb, rich people out of their money, this wouldn't be happening with such frequency. These abominations never make it to production, so what gives?!

I'd love to see some examples of your work? Fisker is one of the better designers out there. Congrats on being so talented - I can't wait to see your stuff.

The Artega came out first. The design has been out for quite awhile.
