Audi is expected to unveil its new A3 at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show next month, but when it does, we'll already have a pretty good idea of what to expect. And not just because the German automaker's entire range pretty much boils down (for better or worse) to a single design applied to a variety of shapes, but because it apparently has more leaks than a kid who wets his bed.

First, the overall shape of the car was leaked from every angle when Audi presented its new Connect infotainment system at CES, and now – following hot on the heels of the unexpected early reveal of the RS4 Avant – this solitary image has found its way onto the interwebs.

It shows what appears to be the production-ready A3 three-door hatch we're expecting to see in just a couple of weeks on the floor of the Geneva Palexpo, and while it could be a rendering, you can count us among the fooled if it is.

      I hope we get the 3-door version here. I like the way this car looks.

        I think we're getting 2D, 4D, and S spec and 4 engine choices (2 gas, 2 diesel).

        Officially all we are getting is a 4 door sedan. No S-Line and no S3 At least initially.

          They haven't 100% confirmed what they are bringing over..they could change their minds. I think the S3 is coming for sure.

          That's what I read too... and by four door- we're talking SEDAN with a TRUNK. Google up, "next Audi A3 to be a 4-door sedan" and see all the articles. Once again, all the 'mericans get are is the sedan. I hope Volvo steps it up with the new V40 5-door hatch. Audi sold plenty of hatches- I don't get it.

      You can pretty much bet that the 3 door hatch you see here won't be seen in the USA.

        Stop talking sh*t. You know you wouldn't buy an S3 let alone an RS3 if they we're offered for sale in the states.

      It still looks a tad toned down compared with the A3 concept...which they said was something like 80-90% of the production version...it doesn't look as mean or wide.

        If it's 10-20% toned down, their staement was mathematically acurate.

        Those are like the 2 things they said would change. Tire width and ride height.

      Awesome styling, I hope this is the real deal. I am praying they bring the 5-door hatch with DSG to the U.S. Sadly, knowing VW/Audi, it will only be offered in the U.S. only as a 4-door automatic with a wimpy engine.

      Is Audi going to give it an interior worthy of a premium brand or will they go "plastic fantastic" like the current car and the A4.

        Are you kidding? Audi is extremely well-known for it's benchmark interiors...

          "Audi is extremely well-known for it's benchmark interiors..." Yeah, in their higher end cars. Go down to your local Audi dealer and sit in an A3 or A4. You'll see what I'm talking about.

        @kcroc10077
        I agree with kcroc- these allegedly gorgeous interiors of Audis don't dazzle me. They're well tailored from the A6, up, but the A3 and A4 are mearly 'nice'. Nothing special, in my opinion. And, frankly, when i see uncovered cupholders like Audi's A3 and A4, it looks low-rent and trashy to me.

          I 2nd your pinion. just look at the pic of the A4 and notice how the center stack looks like a 90's car
