The Buick Verano shares the same basic platform with the Cruze. But its actually based on the Opel Astra version. In fact there are Spy Photos of an Opel Astra sedan which looks identical to the Verano except for the sharper Opel nose.

Just started listening and I know Mr. Blanco was brought on to specifically talk the Prius...but I would love to get an idea about how many people reading autoblog (not ABGreen) and listening to the Autoblog podcast actually care about the Prius.... and/or have any interest in the opinion of a guy that says he doesn't really focus on driving dynamics (I hit the breaks and it stopped me from hitting the car in front of me..."). I honestly thought I was going to fall asleep on my keyboard. Love the show, but you have a seperate AB-Green site for a reason. It's a fair point that the Prius is a significant car...but lets give it it's due in terms of MPG and move on....nobody listening is going to buy one.
