It's common knowledge that buses fight dirty. Enter into fisticuffs with public transportation and you're likely to find yourself on the raw end of a well-aimed 2x4 plank. Just ask the pedestrian in the video after the jump. We're short on context with this one, but from the looks of things, the bus attempts to come to a stop for a traffic checkpoint or tollbooth, only to slide on black ice and bowl straight through the traffic control arm.

It all sounds innocuous enough, but click past the break to check out the unintended result for yourself.

At least the driver had the common courtesy to stop.

Yeah but he just casually walked over there like it was no big deal. "Ok so I almost took ur head of, no biggie."

I think he may have been walking carefully because he just slid on that ice he is walking on.

BWAHAHAHA! Oh wow! That was hilarious. I'm sorry, I know it was painful, but when someone is taken off their feet like that, it's quite hilarious.

I would have thought you would be saying "Hey a man just got hurt here.." but instead you joined into the fun. What happened to the all knowing and all right Elmo? I guess your "Automotive IQ" which is almost always incorrect (of which even you fail to try and fix after repeated mistakes) doesn't leave any room for sympathy or compassion. While funny to watch, it's not funny to think of being in his shoes - laughing at someone else's expense is something expected from a 15 year old... At best.

Ok, the pot has met the kettle. You hate each other, but neither is more of a troll than the other. I wouldnt call either of you trolls or fanboys, but Elmo, you seem a bit of an ass sometimes, and Shunto, you end up being a hypocritical ass, like right now. Exchange emails or something, and duke out your personal dislikes of each other in private. Or get a room. Now I am going to leave before there are dozens of poop throwing replies here. Have fun!

Now you're just trolling around the website looking for my comments on anything and everything. Again, you're the pot, and I'm the kettle. I'd stop if I were you.

Stop? You're the one who runs around and calls people trolls. You're the one who harasses people. I went into an open thread, and ironically enough, the man who I would have suspected to be most responsible is... Not responsible. This guy could be seriously injured for all we know. Yes, it's funny in a ludicrously once in a lifetime way, but to publicly laugh out at other peoples expense is not cool, nor mature. Maybe I was just brought up a different way. It's one thing to crack jokes after the fact, but to openly laugh at the event itself is another. I'm hardly trolling. I comment on something twice a day, if that. It just amazed me this early afternoon to see something like that coming from you especially - someone who is so typically stiff necked.

Also, "stop if I were you?". Don't try to upper hand me. I'm prepared for the ban hammer just as well as you are. We both know AOL leaves a huge margin to replace your account. I'm really not frightened by your idle warning and I'm sure you would be just as frightened if I said something like that to you. If there's one thing we can agree on I'm sure, it's how sad and decrepit the AOL posting board is... At best, it's late 90's tech.

i didn't find it funny until they slowed it down. clearly the one guy saw something was going wrong and started backing away to the side of the building. that dumbass just watched and took maybe 1 or 2 steps back. didn't he hear some brakes locking up or tires screeching?!? :)
