You know you want another one of Ken Block's trademark hoonage videos, don't you? Of course you do. And so we're glad to oblige. But, Ken Block being Ken Block, "just another" video wouldn't do. No, he and his crew at the Monster World Rally Team have to make each episode count. And that requires a certain measure of creativity.

For this latest three-minute clip, Block and company headed to the Dirtfish Rally School in Snoqualmie Falls, Washington. That may not mean anything to you now, but do you remember Twin Peaks? Dirtfish is based in the very same location where the popular early-90s TV show was shot. Block and his team headed there to test out the new Ford Fiesta HFHV on gravel for the first time, and were kind enough to bring along a video crew to, um... "document" the process. Follow the jump to go fire walking with Block and crew.

That's a great segment. We're heading up to Dirtfish next week to film a segment for our new show on the Drive Network, and can't wait to get sideways in some Subarus. Didn't know about the Twin Peaks connection, which is pretty damn hilarious. But all it made me think about was that in 6 days I'll be on that same rally stage in a group N Subaru STI.

Dirtfish School rocks. I'm taking my kid there in February to tear up some gravel in a STI. Then we're off to Tweede's Cafe (formerly, the Mar-T) to get a slice of cherry pie and a damn good hot cup o' joe. It's just too bad that he wasn't even born when Twin Peaks came out.

I don't hate Ken Block. I hate Ford for teaming with Citroen and Pugeot, to ruin WRC with rules changes, and destroying HOMOLOGATION in racing - the most important aspect of motorsport. Ford wasn't doing rallycross, or making AWD cars, until they saw Subaru making headlines. Ford wanted that press, so they bought Mr. Block, purchased the "rally scene" - all with a stupid kit car that's not even built by Ford. Ford doesn't care about rally enthusiasts - and rally enthusiasts don't care about Ford. Furthermore, Ford makes better cars for Europe, than for the U.S. - as an American, Ford can kiss my shut-yo-mouth. Henry Ford was an anti-semite, Hitler's pen pal, and designer of the assembly line - an idea shared with Hitler, that enabled the "war machine" - Germany's ability to destroy Europe. Ken Block in his STi was the Fonz. The stupid Fiesta was "jumping the shark"

FACT #1. FORD WAS NOT SELLING AWD COMPACT CARS WHEN KEN BLOCK MADE HIS FIRST VIDEO. FACT#2. The Escort Cosworth RS, Sierra, and other fantastic Fords, WERE NEVER AVAILABLE TO AMERICANS. Elmo (douchebag!) listed a bunch of amazing cars WE COULD NEVER BUY! THAT'S MY POINT. FACT#3. Ford, Citroen, and Peugeot petitioned AGAINST HOMOLOGATION, so they would not be required to sell us good cars. FACT #4. U.S. STi Impreza is an amazing machine. FACT #5. U.S. Fiesta is a JOKE!

Oh, so now you're going to twist everything around to try and look like you were right? lol Awesome. The hilarious thing, is that you're listing your opinions as facts. 1. Your point? 2. You never said anything about production cars. You just said Ford wasn't build AWD rally cars until Subaru started winning, which turned out to be false. 3. It has nothing to do with not requiring them to sell us good cars. It's more along the lines of them going balls-out with building these rally cars. 4. Not a fact. Your opinion. 5. Same as above. By the way, how is the US Fiesta a joke? The fact that it's fun to drive, is currently killing in the sales department, and it's an attractive B-segment car which was very uncommon are all making it a joke?

And yet again, there's many flaws in your argument... Neither of the manufacturers were in on making the new S2000 rules for WRC. It was meant for safety by slowing the cars down and leveling out the field with the horsepower and engine displacement restrictions. Ford wasn't making AWD cars until Subaru started winning in the WRC? Wait, so what would that make the Ford Escort Cossie RS and Ford Sierra Cossie RS? Because from what I remember, both were AWD. They bought Ken Block? No, Subaru left the WRC and Ken's plans were to move to the WRC. Also, coincidentally, Ken's contract was up with Subaru. Therefore, he needed an American branded car. How would it look if he were to have driven a Citroen? Stupid kit car not even built by Ford? Uh you're right on that one. It's built by Ford Racing. Oh and by the way, despite it actually looking almost nothing like the Fiesta, that's the Fiesta's chassis under that car. So no, it isn't a kit car. Ford makes better cars for Europe than for the US? Uh what about the Mustang, Taurus, F-Series, Fusion, Focus, and Fiesta? Hell, the upcoming 3rd generation Fusion is suspected to be one of the biggest unveilings on this upcoming auto show circuit. Rally enthusiasts don't care about Ford? Again, back to the rallying history that Ford has. List of Ford's legendary rally cars: Ford Escort MKI RS2000/RS1600 Ford Escort MKIII RS Ford RS200 Ford Sierra Cosworth RS Ford Escort Cosworth RS Ford Focus MKI RS WRC Ford Focus MKII RS WRC That just proves that Ford has a HUGE history with rallying. So please, don't speak for everyone else when saying "rally enthusiasts don't care about Ford". It should be "I don't care about Ford in rally because I know absolutely nothing about it". Seriously? You're going to bring up Hitler? Are you kidding me? Over 60 years ago, and there's people still stuck on this? Wow, I guess you hate the New NEW Beetle because its history is connected to Hitler also. Oh and one more thing, Peugeot doesn't race in the WRC anymore either. So I don't know why you're bringing that up.

You forgot to mention that Henry Ford was second or third to actually use the assembly line technique! He's just the guy that gets all the credit because he was the first person to make vehicles cheap enough for the masses to buy. I know Cadillac and Olds beat him to it. Olds Curved Dash - googlz it!
