We're still a couple weeks away from the Detroit Auto Show, but the Lexus LF-Lc concept has leaked thanks to the crew at Road & Track and their YouTube account.

We still don't know much about Lexus' Detroit-bound concept, but the swoopy coupe combines some of the more emotive elements of the LFA, along with the grille of the LF-Gh concept that eventually formed the basis of the Lexus GS. The massively elongated hood terminates with headlamps that plummet deep into the air intakes and a more extreme grille than that found on the Predator-esque fascia of the Gh.

With an "Lc" designation, this could signal Lexus' intention of building an LS-based coupe to take on the likes of the Mercedes-Benz SL, but until the official curtains are pulled in Detroit, we'll have to wait and see.

In the meantime, check out the video after the jump for the unintentional early reveal. As long as it stays on YouTube...

The SC first two generations pushed styling, (even if you didn't like them.) This would make a respectable successor. I think it pulls that unusual grill off better than the new GS does. Plop an updated version of the 4.6 v8 in there (and maybe the 3.7 v6) and voila. I'll bet it would look better in black.

Just because it has "LC" doesn't mean the platform donor is the NEXT LS. It is just reflecting the fact that this car probably has around 450hp and a GTR price tag.

Anyone notice its Lexus "L" badge? Blue means hybrid, right?

Typical LooserXus styling...FUGLY...these idiots could not make a good looking car even if the had italian designers...from the same folks that brough out a 300,000 blupercar that gets it ASS kicked by a Viper...

What's with the Predator face? LF-A was the only car created by Lexus in recent memory that had unique and memorable design. Every other car is a tofu dish - a predictably tasteless substance. Now, instead of using read ingredients in its creations, Lexus simply puts a pinch of spices on tofu to turn it into something it is not. Well, Lexus, no matter what spices you put on top, tofu will remain tofu.

Looks like an ugly whale. Asian automakers are completely lost when it comes to styling.

The Mercedes SL has nothing to fear. Knowing Lexus, this thing will only be available with one engine while the SL comes with a range of motors ranging from a V6, a few V8s to a V12 thus providing the wealthy individual with a motor to suit their needs. That's part of the appeal of many European luxury brands over Lexus.

Looks like a Mitsubishi. With all of their money, you would think Lexus could be more original.
