As you likely know by now, Lexus is planning to pull the curtains off a new concept car at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show. Besides the fact that it's red and appears to be a sporty coupe of some sort, we have no real details on what to expect.

What we do know, however, is that the concept will be sporting a rather inviting interior, thanks to the second teaser image that you see above (click here to enlarge). We note lots of attractive waves of stitching and a plethora of different leather colors and textures.

We also spy some genuine wood trim and what appears to be a mighty large sweeping information center making up most of the dash. And finally, judging by the serious plunging roofline, we're pretty sure this will be a two-seater. Looks like Detroit is shaping up to be an interesting show, with stunning coupe concepts promised from both Lexus and Acura.

right, because an opinion about an interior of goddamn car tells everything about a persons sexuality ? BTW for the record..yes I am heterosexual.... oh damn now what?

Unless the IS is getting a genuine coupe (the convertible doesn't quite count), I'm gonna go with an SC430 replacement.

Ooh, that doesn't look so good. The door panel's design is backwards, or shouldn't sweep up that much over that short a distance. It's not bad, but the door panel is throwing everything off by being overdone.

I'm thinking luxury Ferrari F40 interior... So clean, but wow, yet so stylish. Nothing else than the sleek lines, the materials and detail finishes to take the concentration away from the driving. Hmmm, that was a paradox. Anyway. Use this interior, Lexus!

Looks great but with poor functionality. This must be the new SC460 interior, how on-earth can you see the road upfront. Looks like you sit in a beautiful lounge chair down low, and the dash board is so high that it is just below the eye level. How can you drive if you can't see the front?
