The premiere episode of The List is here, and the first thing anyone should do if they're considering tackling a must-do roster of automotive things is attend a high performance driving school. We have to make sure that our hosts Jessi Combs and Patrick McIntyre are prepared for everything that's in store for them, so we sent them both to Skip Barber Racing School for a two-day High Performance Driving class. The action takes place at California's Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, which means they'll have to get good enough to handle serious turns like the famous Corkscrew. Follow the jump to see how they do.

YES Jessi Combs! She's a perfect choice! She's a total gearhead and a very talented fabricator - she even does some neat fabricated art and furniture design! Very cool!

She's also not bad looking either...

Very nice I enjoyed this. On my list is to see the Monterey Historic races over at that race track. Of course I'd love to take that driving school there too!

Can you guys release these as a podcast. It would make it much easier to follow.

Which episode is sex in car? =D

I'd like to volunteer for that episode, but only with the female host. Damn, I'm getting stiff already just thinking about it.

You know, actually that wasn't too bad. I did recognize and remember Jessi from her brief stint on Mythbusters, she seems perfect for this type of show. I'm looking forward to seeing what other List items you guys have in store for us. Will all the episodes be about the same length as the first one?

Yep, probably around the six-minute mark or so for length, give or take.

If you didn't get a chance to see Jessi on Extreme 4x4, you should try to find some clips on YouTube. I am not much of an offroad enthusiast however I watched the show religiously to see her. She was a very key person in Extreme 4x4 so she was much more visible than on Mythbusters and seemed much more in her element on the show. There is nothing hotter than a really cute, nice girl fabricating, welding and doing serious mechanical work. If I could imagine the girl of my dreams, it would be Jessi Combs.

Oh man, so many great things to go on this list like Pike's Peak, the 200mph club, piloting a dragster, running a car on the salt flats, driving a Veryon, driving in a 24 hour race, driving in the Baja 1000, racing a shifter cart, :) :) :)

Meh on driving a Veyron. Make it an F40 or a 959 and you're talking.

Cool idea. Look forward to seeing more episodes! The hosts are good, they just need to loosen up a bit more.

This is fantastic, what a great idea and a great episode. I love the hosts, much better than Top Gear USA!

Great video. I really enjoyed it! I'll definitely subscribe to this like I do to the podcast!!!

Nicely done. Clearly part of the schtick is the play between his non-car guy and her expertise... it works.
