Mercedes-Benz has given the company's 2012 C63 AMG Black Series a life of its own. The newest commercial for the vehicle shows exactly what happens when dealers shut off the lights and go home for the night. The coupe sets about prowling the streets of some unnamed metropolis in a quest to quench its insatiable thirst for asphalt, frightening away vagrants and using its exhaust note to bark at the moon. Looks like fun. Buyers may want to think about installing a cage in the garage if they plan to bring this Black Series home.

Our short time with the non-Black Series C63 coupe left us wanting plenty more, and the video after the jump is only whetting our appetites for this even snarlier two-door. Click over to check and watch the film for yourself.

So BlackSeries - are you perhaps, by any chance, a fan of Black Series Mercedes-Benz vehicles? I'm trying to work it out, not totally sure.... wait... wait yes I see it! :) I personally really like how Mercedes designs these vehciles more towards fun rather than all out track times, thre really is something to be said for a ride that leans more towards bruiser rather than a surgical knife.

That might be the most boss sauce sounding engine ever made, oh WOW what a sound! It gives me the giddies every time I hear it! If I could I'd put one in my bedroom and fall asleep to the sweet sounds of the rumbly idle. I like how the styling makes it obvious, without having to try, that it's more than "just" a C class Benz without ruining the fact that it is a C class Benz. Too many of these German thugs in a suit go too sutble on the styling front for their performance models (BMW, totally looking at you right now). This is a nice balance. I totally want one!

Nope, I don't see Accord at all. I see a muscle car in a business suit.

I wonder why Mercedes is going to deal with cars like the 2013 GT500 when it comes to performance. I get that no one is going to cross shop these cars but it says a lot about bang for the buck when you are dealing with cars that have this much HP.

Even though they are fast coulda they are totally diffrent classes of machines......somebody shopping for a black series won't be in the market for a GT500 and vise versa..........

I have owned 3 new Mercedes and a new Ford Mustang and I found them both fun in a different way. The Mustang was raw and I was able to forgive the interior once it got to the 2010 and newer. All of my Mercedes were great cars but plagued with electronic issues. Once had a sunroof that they could not fix, one had a window issues where one was fast and the other was slow? The last one went in and out for transmission issues. The Mustang was a solid car but that live axle kept things interesting at the limit. Right now we are in a BMW but after seeing the new GT500 for 2013 I might be going back to Ford. I will drive this Mercedes first before I make a final decision.

Umm... umm... Despite having over 100hp less than a 2013 GT500, I would not be surpised if the Black is still faster around a track, and more comfortable to drive, and overall is a higher quality machine. Not knocking the Ford per se, but really these two machines live in different worlds.

The only reason I watched this video was to see the C63 in action. The weird directing style was more of an annoyance and distraction. Like the random people running, the fake birds flying across the moon and the strange effects where the car teleported or whatever it did. Nevertheless, this car is incredible.
