Whether Ferrari ends up building the rumored Fernando Alonso edition or not, the SA Aperta will stand as one of the most exclusive iterations in the production run of the 599. Only 80 examples of the roadster were produced, but for those thinking even that's not exclusive enough, Novitec Rosso has announced an aftermarket customization package that takes the concept even further.

The German tuning house known for its octane-drenched stallions has fitted Ferrari's 6.0-liter V12 with a pair of superchargers that boosts output to 876 horsepower and 646 lb-ft of torque – a good 215 hp and 178 lb-ft over stock. With a powder-coated stainless exhaust and riding on 21-inch wheels up front and 22s around back, Novitec says its Aperta will hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.1 seconds and hit a top end of 211 mph.

At those speeds, we wouldn't expect to see one sitting still for long, so check it out in the high-res image gallery for what's likely to be your only look at this twin-scroll beast.

That thing would require that you hire an Italian mechanic to follow you around to keep it running right. Give me a 'Vette ZR-1 which would run right with it and could be serviced by any Chevy dealer.

If it is a typical Italian sports car you drive it for 100 miles and then spend $6,000.00 to tune it up. You can't beat the American muscle that in some cases runs on regular gas and goes for 50,000+ miles without touching it.

Ahhh...behind every Corvette, there is a Ferrari (especially this year with Corvette dominating the races)...and now a Ferrari that even looks like a Vette. They say being copied is a form of flattery...if that is the case, Chevrolet should be extremely flattered!!!! Go American, Buy American!!!

If you see the Ferrari in person you will in no way mistake it for a Corvette.

That's crazy. They're always making these cars that go over 200mph. If you crash at even like 100mph there isn't much chance you're going to live.

Yawn another pos from Ferrari the sellout automaker. When a once world class builder stoops to labeling handbags, ball caops , laptops and other crap they have sold there soul out for the mighty dollar. Just like BMW and the rest have and god help us Austin by rebadging a Fiat.

In the USA 800 horsepower street car will get you one of two Things, an extremely large speeding ticket or Death. No reason for a car that can go that fast on the street . I dont care what kind of safety equipment it has in it unless it has a Full rollcage in it you wreack at that kind of speed you are going to be dead

Hey, here's a crazy secret for ya: We're all dead. It's just a matter of time, and how it happens. And personally, wrecking an eight hundred horse Ferrari doesn't exactly sound like the worst way to go...

Doesn't matter how much horsepower it has, or how fast it goes. You can't outrun RADIO WAVES!

if you are driving fast enough that the cops cant see your plates then the radio waves dont help them.
