With nearly 700 horsepower and a stunningly angular supercar skin, the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is one impressive exotic. And speaking of impressive, the resume of Fifth Gear presenter Tiff Needell is nothing to shake a stick at either. Two titans in their respective fields, but do they go great together?

The racecar driver turned Fifth Gear star took the bull by the horns, experiencing the Aventador on the UK's public roads and on the track. The Aventador was strong enough to achieve one very impressive Fifth Gear speed record, but does Tiff love it? About as much as a stiff neck. Hit the jump to watch Needell try to tame Lambo's latest.

I'm going to go ahead and put more stock in what Tiff says than the Autoblog "I saw a Lambo once, so I'm an expert" Commentariat.

I don't really care if the Aventador isn't the best super car out there, but man is it sweet and the noise!

You should all go check out the review of the italia 458 spider by the female presenter of 5th gear .Her facial expression is priceless for a lady. Never seen anything like it, makes you wanna go rob a bank to get one . Ferrari should use some of the facial expression by that lady in their ads cos she could help them sell more just be her expressions alone. It's like she is having an orgasm . He didn't mention the fact that you can't shift gears yourself, even if you wanted to. No, pressing a floppy piece of plastic that hits a switch is not shifting gears.

I'm a purist and I love manuals. That said, after spending a good deal of time behind the Aventador, I don't think you could have it any other way. To harness the car appropriately, you have to have the ISR gearbox.

Agree. IBx27, you have never driven this car, this gearbox, or anything like this. I know that because not a single person I have spoken to who has driven the Aventador thinks a manual is appropriate for this car. All of those drivers are purists.

As probably one of the only people here that has driven the Aventadorfor a decent amount of time, I can firmly say that this is truly one of the most perfect supercars ever made. Aesthetically, it is stunning both on the outside and inside. It is fast, handles amazingly, and performs like a champ. It is, dare I say, comfortable with a surprising amount of leg room. I though it felt as compliant as a BMW M6. The gear box in Corsa is super quick, hence, you feel it. And what's wrong with that?! That's the point Tiff. If you don't like that, leave it in Strada mode which is relatively smooth. And at $400,000, it is a bargain. It's a better car than the Veyron (look at Top Gear's results), any Konnniigggseeggg, any Ferrari (ever), or even any Pagani. So you can't drift it. That's what souped up Ford Focus' are for like Tanner Foust's. Go get that if you just want to drift! Or wait for the next Viper which I think will be the best American "Super" car ever.

He's just trying to impress his Top Gear Rival, Richard Hammond by agreeing with him, "it's too boring, want something more 'pantomime'" Yeah whatever. It's hyper fast...and looks awesome. That should be good enough old boys.

I agree Tiff needs to go out to pasture, someone much younger would not have all these qualms about this car, or notice them for that matter. They would be overtaken by laughter from the sheer speed alone.
