In a world where physics holds no sway, one cop is ready to take on corrupt politicians and the mobsters that pay them off... or something. Honestly, we don't care about the plot to Singham - a Bollywood remake of the 2010 Tamil film of the same name. What we do enjoy is watching two Mahindra SUVs playing bit parts in an action-adventure that's one part Lethal Weapon and two parts Naked Gun. If nothing else, the lead character is inspiring a last minute revision to our Super Troopers Halloween costume. Check out the absolute best part of the film after the jump.

With a moustache and shades like that, who needs physics when you can just turn down time and gravity to enhance your coolness? Honestly, watch Bollywood action flicks for the lulz, there are many.

We have got enough reality in real life so to hell with reality on screen. This is the kind of crap we really need. Hollywood does it too. But not this often. No seriously, I was just trying to put up an argument. I am not a big fan of this either nor of the hollywood versions with similar levels of crap. And the actor is Ajay Devgun who is kind of cool by the way. Well this being a auto forum should say this. He owns (or at least used to own) a Maserati Quattroporte. And that is one seriously cool car.

we got too many jerks on autoblog, who think quattroporte is not cool enough, no matter who is driving it!

I wish I knew the name of some of these Indian flicks, but this isn't even remotely close to being the most ridiculous, over-the-top action scene in a Bollywood movie.

I feel sorry for his thumb when that slide racks back and rail road tracks it... Proper gun handling techniques are a must even for Bollywood Action Stars lol.

Not sure what you're talking about. At 0:17, in the close-up, you can see the slide rack back and clearly his thumb is just fine. He obviously did a good job of repositioning before he fired. :)

It's obvious Bollywood producers have the slightest idea about physics.

Let's talk majorities here. And Hollywood is still light-years ahead when it comes to that.

I can't remember watching a realistic Hollywood action movie EVER! IMO the closest one to realism was the 2006 Miami Vice and it still has it's "Hollywood" moments.

It must be true if it's on TV. Also, try using the phrase, "Different" to describe something you're not familiar with rather than "weird"....unless you're really that ignorant.
