It looks as if Mercedes-Benz is closer to giving the Black Series treatment, judging by the shots our spy photographers nabbed of the menacing four door frolicking around the Nürburgring.

Word has it that the C63 AMG Black Series Sedan will pack the same 510-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 as found in the two-door as well as an identical seven-speed automatic gearbox. It's worth pointing out that the cog swapper is no standard slusher, however. The seven speed is an AMG SpeedShift MCT capable of changing gears in as little as one tenth of a second. Let's see your left foot do that.

Expect to see a volley of suspension tricks lifted from the meaner coupe as well as a larger oil cooler and brakes capable of bringing planetary bodies to a screeching halt. So far there's no word on when we'll see the vehicle debut, but we're guessing it won't be too far down the line. Stay tuned.

I need to win the lottot ASAP. If I had that kind of coinage, I'd most certainly make this my daily driver.

so i like the bodywork, but the engine output is somewhat of a let down IMO.the old e63 had the same 510hp tune, a black series should get at least 550-600 out of the same 6.2

Mind showing us where you got this info instead of actually relying on your fanboy mind?

Nevermind, it's Fried_Rice. I shouldn't be taking anything you say seriously. Anyway, a test drive doesn't prove anything. You're biasedness would blind you and skew the results. Now showing me multiple articles saying the IS-F is a much better car than its competitors would be better.

Who would you rather believe?

LMAO! Have fun riding in it for more than 5 miles. My buddy was looking for a nice performance sedan and who took me to test drive this and it felt like we were driving over gravel roads and speed bumps throughout the whole ride. It was cramped, the body kit made it look cheap, it only has an automatic, the interior was bland, the back seat was cramped, and after getting in the C63, M3, and CTS-V which I'm glad and mad that he bought, there was no comparison.

I'm sure renntec can squeeze an extra 60-70 horse power of your regular C63.

Those wheels are evil. I hope they eventually offer them with the hubs in Hardcore Pink and Gold-Plated Special Edition.

I thought there was some class action lawsuit regarding undue wear on the motor.

One owner sued AMG because he voided the warranty on his engine by having a non-qualified tuner mess with it. Most accounts state that these engines are problem-free and reliable.

Yum. I much prefer this to the coupe. Love that 6.2. A V8 that should make any domestic lover drool.
