Looks like American Chopper star Paul Teutel, Sr. has decided his 2011 Pontiac Trans Am Hurst Edition is getting boring. His reworked 2011 Chevrolet Camaro SS, Smokey and the Bandit-style rebody and paint scheme was put up for auction on eBay Motors this week.

There are changes beneath that bodywork as well. For starters, the LS3 V8 is supplemented by a big centrifugal blower. Inside, a chrome Hurst shifter and gold-and-black interior further cement the theme of mustachioed 1970s badassery.

While we found the $125,000 "Buy It Now" price a bit galling, either someone else didn't and has already snapped up the faux Pontiac, or the seller has pulled the sale for one reason or another. We'll be sure to keep an eye out for a relisting, but that shouldn't stop you from stealing a few looks at Teutel's made-up musclecar in our gallery

"Looks like American Chopper star Paul Teutel, Sr. has decided his 2011 Pontiac Trans Am Hurst Edition is getting boring." More like, "Looks like American Chopper star Paul Sr. has decided he needs to find some way to pay all his bills now that his business is almost BK and his building was foreclosed on."

"Paul Sr. has decided he needs to find some way to pay all his bills now that his business is almost BK" Actually, no. Seeing as how the COMPANY itself is (or near) bankrupt, that has almost nothing to do with Sr.'s personal wealth. OCC can continue to pay him $1 Million a year (or whatever he makes) till the doors get shut, but none of his money will be touched. Ya gotta love our system where we protect the wealthy at all costs.... god forbid they might have to suffer for even a moment as the business they drive into the ground gets shuttered. If Sr. is selling this car for $100k+, none of that money will ever make its way back into OCC to balance its books.

When you run a small business, you pledge your possessions from your soup to your nuts. And your faux Poncho, too.

Yes, it's well known. Their bank wouldn't reorganize the loan so they opted to go into foreclosure and move to a smaller facility.

Would rather spend that $125,000 on a real Trans Am instead of giving it to this douche for his kit car.

Wow!!! he is a real dirt bag, I can't believe how he lets people talk about his sons like he does!!! I mean it is one thing for him to have some things to say about his kids but when he lets those dirt bags that work for him talk trash it just proves what a jerk he really is. He is going to die a lonly old man. He is so jealous that his son does more with way less that he can't stand it. He likes to talk about how Paulie doesn't build the bikes, what does he do? I don't blame Paulie for wanting to get away from OCC. His father tried to take him right out of the designing of the bikes, he lets his new adoptive son design everything. That was Paulie's job and he tried to make him into a mechanic and that is not his talent. I think Paulie's bike out shine OCC's bikes everytime!!!

It looks pretty good until you get to the rear and then it seems to fall apart. I guess I'd have to see it in person but it just seems kind of like they ran out of steam on the rear.

Buy a 20 million dollar t-shirt shop in one of the worst taxed, business hating states in the country and before you know it, you're having a huge garage sale. I am betting that some of his other cars are next and maybe some of the bikes that made them popular. Having Senior farting in the seats adds no value to a car enthusiast.

He is smart to sell now. This car will not hold any value over the long haul like the rest of his classic/muscle car collection.

I am sorry, I am not stupid enough to buy an overpriced car just because it was owned by a celebrity that will be forgotten in a couple of years.

Uh the show has been around for 8 years and he, nor has his son been forgotten. It's one of the most watched cable shows on Mondays.
