The United Arab Emirates is a land that continually breathes new life into the phrase "More money than sense." The new prime example of this is a custom-built Ford SVT Raptor that believes the prime number of doors is six. Said to hail from the UAE, it's quite clear that anything goes in the Land Of The Burning Dollar Sign Sun.

We're not going to completely hate on this thing, of course, as the idea of a six-door Raptor puts visions of a seriously great camping trip in mind. Still, we're not even sure if this thing is actually real or if someone with solid skills spent too much time playing around on their computer. Judge for yourself by clicking past the jump and watching the video.

Ford really needs to make an SUV version of the Raptor. I m sure it will sell, and if they need any proof , I will be more than happy to give my money for one.

It would be best if they just called it F150 SVT Raptor XUV :) I think anyway. No need to mess with a good thing. I would have bought a Raptor. But in Montreal it's too cold and I don't do any type of consturction labor. I like to keep my passengers butts and mine warm. My belongings included :)

I actually, find this quite useful and practical. Unlike diamonds and pointless gold and swiveling doors, this ain't a bad idea.

Why would you make silly and unnecessary statements about the UAE because of a few people with different tastes than you?

Well, because having worked there for quite some time, it wasn't that folks were excessive (many people over in Dubai were just working folks like the rest of us); it was the attitude. That they were better than the rest of us, as they were so "rich" (insert other people's money comment here or comment about potential vs actual money) because they were smarter than the rest of us. It's true, we didn't build the tallest building in the world, but at least I don't have to truck my sewage out into the desert (have some awesome pics of this) since we build working sewage systems! We were constantly being told that they were superior since they could build these crazy buildings/islands/etc (how's the real estate selling on the world islands now???).

Honestly its not that bad, its certainly not the worst thing I've seen come out of the middle east. there are plenty of gold plated abominations out there. if anything it really makes me think there needs to be a Raptor SUV...

I don't mind the SUV-like back. I'd buy a four door SVT Raptor-based SUV, or a two-door Bronco like thing.

Why not 6 doors in a few products. Thrid row seats are a bi tch to get into.

I wouldn't want to have to drive that thing. A 1997 Chevy Tahoe was bad enough. To me, a truck should be rugged/off-road capable, and this seems too over the top for that. Like the big SUVs of the 2000s, it might look cool with some big rims in terms of "bling factor". With that said, I will have to agree with another poster and say that this may have had a chance in the US market 10 years ago. Personally, I would prefer the Raptor to this, or maybe perhaps a much smaller SUV with Raptor capabilities.
