Our favorite automotive web series has returned with a new episode. Josh Clason and his Depth of Speed crew traveled to the Bonneville Salt Flats. In the new video, A Pinch of Salt, the drivers interviewed all point out that the motorsports atmosphere in the middle of this barren patch of Utah salt is uniquely friendly. It's another well-told story with excellent production values. Click past the jump to check it out.

Every episode of this series is so well put together, between the camerawork and the music choices, they all leave me with goosebumps. Josh Clason has done something amazing not only for car guys and gals but for cinema.

This Clason dude starts to get boring, his videos are edited all the same way. Time to move on.

Yeah, well all of your comments are the same. Either you're hating on Ken Block, or your comments are just plain negative.

Elmo, you are too ignorant to understand ! Do not school me. I don't "hate on" anyone. I dislike what Ken Block has been doing, I dislike YOUR comments, I dislike Clason's latest vid, I dislike lots of things. I don't HATE per se. Now move on and go play with Ken and Barbie.

Did you NOT read what I said to you AT ALL? You're totally missing the definition of "hating on". You even failed to read that there's a difference between "hating on" and "hate". YOU ARE A HATER! You only dislike my comments because time after time I make you look retarded. It's really satisfying to know that.

Relax, Alex. You're arguing with a guy who (incorrectly) criticezes use of the word "hella." But wants to sit and pontificate on the intricacies and subtleties of "hate" vs. "hated on". You'd be better to just move along. Like many other blogs there seems to be a general lack civility on Autoblog comment sections. Most folks come on here because they like cars (or found a great deal on an x-box.) People just seem to get in pissing contests over how much or how little they like something. The level of negativity is pretty high now on almost every comment section regardless of the post content. I'm sure the comment rating system doesn't help, because people get defensive. Anyway, it's annoying. Good post AB, I think the Depth of Speed series is great. Its low key approach really goes against the grain of most automotive videos nowadays.

For something called Depth of Speed, they sure go through great lengths to make cars look slow. First it was the hella flush episode, now they go to one of the fastest places on earth and its more slow pan. I don't think they're living up to their name.

You should be used to what they do then.

Did he just say "hella"? Saying "hella" is right up there with wearing tribal/bedazzled t-shirts, tribal armbands, and TapOut shirts on non-fighters.

It's called Depth of Speed, take note of the Depth. My take is that they look behind the obvious, more in depth into what makes these people have such a passion for speed and all things automotive. The speed is obvious, mention Bonneville and its synonymous with speed. Showing cars zoom by blisteringly fast wouldn't be anything new, its whats behind that, the passion, that's the focus here.

You really are too retarded to know how to properly reply to someone's comment, aren't you? 1. There's a huge difference between "hate" and "hating on". Hating on is having nothing but negativity towards an object or person. Therefore, you are hating on Ken Block. 2. Uh what? Deja vu is disliking someone? Uh no. Deja vu is the feeling of already experienced the current situation.

You pointed out one comment towards one person who I do not particularly like that was almost 2 months ago lol (I'm only guessing because I do not remember the last time I said that to MonteSS). You've yet to read any of my comments today that were positive.

Elmo Moron who compares the Veyron to the Aventador! That wasn't hard. How about you don't assume I haven't read other comment sections. The only reason I am talking to you right now is because this definetly is not the only comment section.

And just because they've been an attack on someone ON THIS COMMENT SECTION, doesn't mean I'm always negative. Maybe you should go read other comment sections before judging me. Alex Butti has constantly been negative and continues to be a troll, especially on articles about Ken Block. A lot of people would agree with me. You're just a lurker who decided to pop into a conversation where you knew nothing that happened before it.
