For those car enthusiasts interested more in modern sheetmetal than pre-war brass, Pebble Beach still has you covered. Near the main entrance of the show is the concept car lawn, showcasing a collection of modern concepts and supercars.

This year featured many of the cars that were only recently introduced in Monterey this past weekend, including the Lotus Evora GTE Road Car Concept and the Cadillac Ciel Concept. Recently making their North American debuts, the Lamborghini Aventador, SSC Tuatara, BMW 328 Hommage Concept, and the 2012 BMW M5 were also on display. Our favorite of the group, however, was the modern-meets-vintage Mercedes-Benz F-Cell Roadster.

You can view our photos from this year's Pebble Beach concept car lawn in the image gallery above.

Jaguar concept is unbelievable. Favorite of the bunch with the exception of the Aventador.

Why do all these pictures look like renderings? Whatever combination of filtering you're using, it's not working. These pictures look awful.

The SSC will be easily forgotten. Like the Thrust SCC Ultimate aero.

it will have to drive first! and that very very fast....we'll see but i don't think this car will go 400km/h plus with this aerodynamics

Cadillac, Jaguar, and SSC were the only ones worth looking at. Others aren't clean designs, or are production cars.

Am I the only one chuckling at the Mercedes quad-cycle concept?

No. It seems like a concept that could have been cool had they not gone so far back on the vintage side. It just looks silly.

Nice pics thanks Autoblog. SSC and the Alfa looks hot. Jag rear reminds me a bit of the Citroen GT concept. Want the Lotus. Merc wtf?

So, the Infiniti crossover is hot. The Alfa is hot (if not a bit like Ace and Gary's car in The Ambiguously Gay Duo). And finally, that Mercedes is so, so sweet, my only critique would be the wheels, I understand why they did that and they should be kept the same size but maybe with a bit more modern take (less spoke-y).

That SSC Tuatara is off the chain!!! If I had the dough I'd take one in silver, provided I had driving lessons from Jackie Stewart, because that thing has serious HP! Can't wait for an independent test to see if it will wax the Bugatti Veyron SS.
