Russia is Shangri La if you're into crazy men building mean-looking one-off supercars in their garages. OK, supercar might be a bit of an exaggeration, considering this home-built Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR replica probably rides on old Lada running gear, but look at it.

It looks like a resurrected battleship with vengeance on its mind. We have no idea what powers it, but we like imagining an apocalyptic sound from the jagged side pipes decorating this beast's flanks. No high-tech equipment was used to build it, and the guy named the car Valentina after his wife. We doubt she looks nearly so mean...

I thought it was cool, until I saw the side AND rear exit exhaust pipes.

This brings "rat rod" into the 21st century. Very interesting, but must weigh ~4 tons.

I hear it runs on a Flex-Fuel motor. Gasoline or Vodka, you're choice.

it would be nice if it was based on S600. The engine will handle the weight.

Probably because it's like the Gawker of car sites. Oh wait, it _IS_ the Gawker of car sites.

Jalopnik are cited as the source. Nothing wrong with that. They probably had better things to post last week and today decided to post this just to fill some time. I've no problem with that.

Jalopnik almost always has the story first. Pretty sure Autoblog writers scan Jalopnik and other blogs to see what they can write about or just ripoff by posting it weeks later. The only decent thing to read on Autoblog are the reviews and the hilarious comments sections where everyone writes how upset or angry they are with the new Toyota or Honda.

I just paid $22.87 for an iPad2-64GB and my girlfriend loves her Panasonic Lumix GF 1 Camera that we got for $38.76 there arriving tomorrow by UPS. I will never pay such expensive retail prices in stores again. Especially when I also sold a 40 inch LED TV to my boss for $675 which only cost me $62.81 to buy. Here is the website we use to get it all from, BidsGet.com
