Did you go to camp when you were a kid? If you did, what kind of camp was it? These days there's all kinds: day camp, country camp, sports camp, sailing camp, fat camp... you name it, there's a camp for it. But after watching this video, we get the distinct feeling that we went to the wrong one. Where we should have gone was Ferrari camp.

Ferrari's headquarters in Maranello, you see, isn't just a factory and an office tower. It's got a full village for employees, complete with a gym, restaurant, bar... you name it. And come summer time, it's even got a day camp. You know, for the kids.

Recently, the company's affable chairman Luca Cordero di Montezemolo stopped by the camp to see what the bambini were up to, and brought along Fernando Alonso, Felipe Massa and a few others for the day. Follow the jump to watch the video footage and lament how your childhood summers could have been spent.

My granddaughter went to a summer camp, shes 12 and 2 counslers (AROUND 20) came on to her. I thank the other counselors that were observant and turned them both in. They were fired. But I wonder what would have happened if the decent ones would not have said anything. Thank YOU for turning them in! The Camp Administrator did NOT even bother telling me. The administrator should be removed for not coming forth to me with the information

I don't like seeing kids involved in ANY marketing ploy at all, even if they are blissfully unaware. Whether it's Disney or Ferrari, it's all a bit slimy.

Why not? You'd let your kids go to a Disney camp, wouldn't you? Let me explain why Ferrari is like Disney: Disney licenses and sell millions of toys to children, so does Ferrari. Disney has colorful and timelessly strange looking characters like Pluto and Stitch. Ferrari has Schumacher and Massa. Last but not least, FERRARI HAS A F$%*ING THEME PARK

No, I wouldn't take them to a Disney theme park, or even the Disney store. Avoiding name brands is impossible, but when culture becomes a cult, I'm out.

No English...not interested. How about a view of a camp in the United States. Probably not. Only rich kids can go. No sense teasing the others.
