It's loud, powerful and wears the three-pointed star up front. Sure, that could describe the host of Mercedes-Benz's AMG cars, but in this case, we're talking about the latest hotness: the 2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe. This performance two-door keeps popping up in videos to tantalize our senses, and now, Mercedes has hired a pair of stunt drivers for a trio of new clips that show the sports coupe engaging in fan-approved activities.

The German automaker reached out to its fans on Facebook, who then decided on what stunts they wanted to see the C63 AMG Coupe perform. The first shows how the C63 AMG Coupe can be used to link drifts together to form a figure eight. Said figure eight happens to occur within close proximity to a pair of C63 sedans. In the second clip, a stunt driver threads the needle between a pair of parked sedans, and he does so while moving fairly quickly... in reverse. Lastly, the final clip appears fairly tame at first glance, as both stunt drivers intersect each other at high speeds. However, the timing has to be just right for that maneuver or Mercedes would have to send out a cleaning crew to pick up tiny bits of sports car from the ground. We've got all three clips, idling loudly for you after the jump.

Mercedes called and told Honda to peak through someone elses window for a while. Sorry to report but the C class design came out in 07 and the Accord's came in 08.

Charles Bogenberger was talking about the c class coupe which is coming out next year, not the 07 c class sedan. The merc coupe def has some resemblance to the accord coupe especially the roof line and the side windows

Talk about shooting blanks! I agree with Terry on this one. I don't dislike the cars, but what does the first video show me? That the car is able to drift? It's not like they're showing off precisions because the cars are miles apart! As for the second video, it would've been just as effective showing someone parking their car. Ok, it's cool to have a rear view cam, but it's not exclusive nowadays. And who's going to drive 40mph backwards JUST to pass in between two cars? As for the third video, cool to see it in slow motion, but nothing new added there. Conclusions: The car can drift if you turn the wheel at high speed, it can do 40mph backwards, it has a rear view cam and it goes fast in a straight line. Point taken. Now show me something fun I can do with the car (should I be inclined to buy one, which I'm not after seeing this audio-visual trio).

It's really interesting how much better the sedan looks than the coupe. Kinda like the CTS. The huge mass of steel between the rear wheels and the belt line is off putting for me.

It would impress me more if they showed how the car could be in control and out handle other cars. These videos of cars sliding around will have me avoid that car if it can't stay in control.

You do realize that these drivers aren't losing control of the cars, right? Because that is what you are implying.

that was dumb it said nothing about the cars. what is mercedes trying to say? just because you can drive a car backwards in between two other cars doesnt mean its a great performance car. or like great!... i can perfectly time two cars driving in a straightline so they narrowly miss each other. so dumb, i could do that with two shitty cars.
